Contains Smut:
A/N: I could have kept going with this and yes itâs already long. But like- Chans the definition of this series ok? đ
-đ
â˘Heâs just in his element.
â˘If any of them have a daddy thing itâs 100% him.
â˘He treats you like a princess.
â˘Spoils the fuck out of you.
â˘Gets grumpy when you try and pay for anything because how dare you.
â˘Heâs such a gentleman.
â˘Youâll never have to open your own doors.
â˘He enjoys taking long showers together and after
â˘He loves having you sit infront of him brushing your hair for you.
â˘Matching outfits, matching jewelry.
â˘Heâs so easy to talk to too.
â˘If youâre having a bad day, you know you can just curl up with him and cry.
â˘Heâs great at consoling you when anything happens.
â˘Holding you tightly to him as he reminds you about how amazing you are.
â˘Heâs super clingy honestly.
â˘If youâre with him heâs always gotta be touching you in some way.
â˘Hand holding, Legs touching. Something.
â˘You keep him more grounded than you probably know.
â˘He finds almost anything you do super cute.
â˘Oh this man just gets all cheesy when youâre pouting. Finds it so fucking cute.
â˘Definitely doesnât have a whole folder of songs for your birthday or anniversary.
â˘Youâre literally like a fire to him and heâs the moth.
â˘Itâs really hard to ever really really upset him.
â˘Heâs pretty level headed.
â˘Most days if youâre being grumpy or cranky heâll sit with you asking whatâs the matter and how he can help.
â˘If youâre giving him attitude almost always he can make you stop with just that look.
â˘He has the habit of telling you way to sweetly âfix your attitude princess or Iâll have to fix it for you. Be good for daddyâ
â˘Heâs really to soft, but when he needs to be stern he does it in a way that still makes you feel so safe.
â˘Heâs really just a safe space. Youâll never feel like your emotions are too much with him.
â˘He constantly will reassure you.
â˘He sends you such loving messages too, long paragraphs of why he loves you.
â˘Never not having a good morning or good night text. Even if you just got off the phone.
â˘It feels like taboo to him not too.
â˘Heâs not a super jealous type, but heâs protective.
â˘He knows you love him so much, your eyes never leaving his.
â˘But how can he trust others when youâre just so cute.
â˘Heâll hover over you when youâre out sometimes. Like heâs waiting. Ready to attack anyone who dares upset him princess.
â˘Constantly hugs yous tightly burring himself into you saying âmineâ cutely.
â˘Heâs really just wrapped around your finger and heâs fine with that.
ŕŠâĄËłSmut Below
â˘He has almost 2 personalityâs.
â˘The super sweet loving one where he wants to take it so slow.
â˘Heâll eat you out for hours making sure you cum before you even fuck.
â˘He talks so much. He talks you through it 100%.
â˘He makes just as much noises as you do tbh.
â˘Heâs a missionary lover for sure.
â˘Always wanting to see your pretty face. Plus how else is he gonna kiss you?
â˘Heâs just so sensual and passionate.
â˘Other times he- can just lose himself.
â˘Stressful day? Heâs having you on your knees while he face fucks you.
â˘Heâs definitely into free use with you especially waking you up with head or his dick just slowly pushing into you.
â˘All with complete consent. Heâll never do anything without asking you prier and establishing boundaries.
â˘Has a safe word and does the color system.
â˘He can get ahead of himself sometimes. Losing it with you.
â˘Pushing your face into the bed fucking you like he hates you.
â˘Those beautiful hands of his leaving bright red hand prints on your ass.
â˘Or wrapped around your neck like a choker. He also really enjoys having you suck his fingers.
â˘Breeding kink. Breeding kink. Breeding kink.
â˘Heâs also somehow so good at degrading you while making it sound so- sweet?
â˘âMy dirty little princess, youâre soaked just from kissing?â
â˘He has one of those machines that can fuck you while heâs not home. And of course a custom made dildo that is a mold of his cock.
â˘Loves FaceTiming you while on tour guiding you through your orgasm.
â˘Always teases you and doesnât let you cum at first. Not until youâre begging well enough.
â˘This man is also team remote vibe.
â˘He just thinks itâs so damn adorable watching you squirm while youâre out.
â˘Heâs not much better though. He canât keep his hands to himself.
â˘Could be having dinner out and heâs gonna be knuckles deep into your sopping hole till he canât handle it.
â˘100%. Fucks you infront of mirrors. Not only so you can watch how well he fucks you.
â˘But so he can tell you things like âlook how beautiful you are when youâre cumming around my cockâ
â˘Like I said heâs definitely a talker so somethingâs he says are:
â˘âDaddyâs gonna fill you so full princess. Iâm gonna fuck you till I know youâre pregnant.â
â˘âDonât you run from me, Iâm not done with you yetâ
â˘âGod itâs like you were made to take my cock princess.â
â˘âDaddy loves you, love you so fucking much.â
â˘And one of his favorites âyou say you canât take it anymore but youâre pretty hole is telling me she wants moreâ
â˘King of aftercare.
â˘On days he goes a little harder heâs making sure you know he loves you.
â˘He has you wrapped in his arms while he talks to you.
â˘Likes to sing to you to calm you down from intense orgasms.
â˘Warm baths with candles, and snacks.
â˘Kinda like Minho he puts one of his hoodies in the dryer for you.
â˘Making sure it smells like him before he wraps you in the warmth.
â˘Youâre basically trapped for a while because he just wants to hold you.
â˘He really loves you and he wants to make sure you always know that.

THE SWEETHEART GRIP
one way soldiers kept their loved ones close during battle was by inserting a photo of them under a clear grip of either plexiglass or acrylic on their pistols. this is known as the sweetheart grip.
l&ds sylus x reader
me finding out about anything: how can i make this about love and deepspace... and yes i am american. yes i still don't respect anyone involved in or supporting the military leave me alone.
divider
So... Sylus definitely has a sweetheart grip of you. On all of his guns, actually. And you're not even aware of it.
They're all his favorite photos of you. Pictures of you on dates, selfies you've posted on social media, polaroids he's taken of you after sex.
He's insanely adept at weapons assembly so of coursee all his stuff is custom. Takes them apart, adds tributes of you, puts them back together.
You know he STAYS strapped. Always has a gun on him, always has a piece of you with him. As if your souls are not literally bound together. Whatever. He needs a physical reminder I guess. Can't go anywhere without some sort of keepsake. Keeps him sane.
Likes keeping his weapons clean; never lets your image get bloody, wet, scratched, foggy. Carries around a cloth to wipe away at any imperfections. Would never ruin your picture like that. Spends a modest chunk of his day making sure they're clean to his liking. It's so canon, have you seen this man during the in-game study and work feature even??!
Looks at your pretty picture all the time. Whips out his gun as if itâs his phone. Professional meetings, philanthropy galas, you name it. Intimidates everyone around him in doing so, thinking he's gonna shoot themânot that they would say that to his faceâbut no. He simply misses your cute face. Just wants a reminder of who's waiting at home for him.
Looks at your picture while he aims his gun at someone's head. Asks himself if this is what you would want. Shoots them anyways lol. Uses his palm to cover your photo as he pulls the trigger, careful to not taint your darling image with his enemy's blood.
You're bound to find out. He doesn't hide the fact from you, doesn't flaunt it either, so it's a while before you do end up finding your face staring back at you whilst looking through his armory.
"Sylus, what is this?" You ask, holding up the pistol so he can see.
"It's you, do you like it?"
"Well yes, I can see that it's me. Why is my face on your gun? And why am I naked in this one?"
"Technically your face is on all of my guns, sweetheart. That one's just my favorite." As if it's the most obvious fact in the world.
"... You did this yourself?"
"Absolutely. Do you not like it?"
"It's not that, but..." he waits, then the last thing he would expect you to say comes from your mouth, "...can you do this to my guns?"
He laughs, booming and robust, "why? You want my nudes on your guns? You must like me a lot, huh?"
It's enough for you to give him a slap on his bicep. "Fine. Nevermind. Don't know why I even asked."
He's still laughing as he pulls you into his body. He tickles your stomach, turning your pout into your own set of giggles, "I'm teasing, sweetheart. You can use as many nudes of me as you want. Shall we begin now?"
He jolts his hips up to your body, catching you off guard. He's noticeably hard now, tent in his pants evident. You get the hint.
âWhy wait when weâre already here?â
âThatâs the spirit, sweetheart.â

Thatâs Not What Friends Do (part 2)
Pairing: Lando Norris x reader
Warnings: none, this is so short Iâm so sorry I just donât have the motivation to finish this ugh..
part 1
As soon as the Brazilian GP was over, you were overcome with guilt for not being there for Lando. You already knew how it would look like after an unsuccessful race, he would shift all the blame to himself and that failure would eat him up for days.
You couldn't help but wonder if anything would have been different if you had gone to Brazil with him. Probably not, but at least you could have given him the comfort he so desperately needed right then and there. And that's why as soon as he returned home, you immediately found yourself knocking on the door of his apartment in Monaco.
"Hey, Lan" You gave him a soft smile looking straight into his eyes when he opened the door.
He smiled weakly back at you, saying nothing. He didn't even need to say anything because you could see the sadness in his sleepless eyes, so you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him into a tight and comforting hug.
"What took you so long?" He whispered as he buried his head in your neck, holding his arms tightly around your waist.
"I'm sorry, I came as soon as I could" You said gently caressing the back of his head.
The evening went by with you trying to talk to him about it, but he wasn't in the mood for it. He just wanted to take his mind off what was, for him, a tough defeat and enjoy your company, so you didn't push it.
You ordered food, had dinner, and then turned on a movie. Everyone was on their own end of the couch, Lando was lying on the elongated part, and you were sitting a little further away from him.
As the movie went on, you kept adjusting your position because it became uncomfortable for you to keep sitting.
"What's wrong?" Lando asked when you let out a deep sigh. "Are you getting bored with the movie?"
"No, but my back is starting to hurt." You stretch as you say.
"Come here" He extends his arm, signaling you to come lie down next to him.
"It's okay, don't worry" You want to. So much. But you know you shouldn't.
"Come" He insists.
You sigh, but move over to him anyway, resting your head on his shoulder as he wraps his arm around you. The movie continues, but Lando completely shifts his focus from the movie to you. Lucky for him, you don't see his gaze drop down to you as you lie curled up next to him, but you definitely feel his fingers gently playing with your hair. You just hope that the butterflies you feel in your stomach don't jump out and give you away.
"Are you okay, Lan?" You ask looking up at him.
He smiles at you and places his hand on your cheek. "I'm better now"
You blush at his gesture, thinking to yourself this is not what friends do. Lando was almost certain he was going to kiss you tonight. This was the perfect opportunity with you on him like this, with you pressed tightly against him and in his arms. Everything was leading to that.
"I'm sorry I couldn't be with you for the weekend. I was really busy finishing up the project I'd been working on."
"Were you really?" He asked with a hint of suspicion.
"Of course I was. I don't understand why do you think I would lie to you?â
"I don't know." He shrugs. "Maybe you wanted to be with your date that you still haven't told me about." The butterflies in your stomach fly away as soon as he mentions the date.
At that very moment, so late at night, your phone, which was next to you on the couch, rang and the screen displayed Charles' name and surname and seeing that, Lando's heart dropped.
"Charles Leclerc? You're fucking Charles Leclerc?"

The first week after you became friends with Ellie, you hung out with her in the garage of her dad, well, her Joelâs house. She was in the process of fixing it up to be her apartment and you had agreed to help her move some stuff around. You had caught sight of Joel through the window of the garage, he was in the paddock just past his house where Jacksonâs sheep were kept. He was carrying a bucket of water to fill their trough and stopping to rub one of the sheep that followed after him behind the ears while they all brayed at him. Joel was really good looking for an older guy, broad through his shoulders and chest with a lined and deeply etched but handsome face. His hair was peppered with grey and there was something about his prominent nose and jaw that made you want to stare. You had seen him at other times in Jackson, from across the mess hall when he came in looking for his brother while a movie played in the evening. You had watched him then, your eyes tracking his movements across the building instead of paying attention to the projector screen. You had seen him at the pub, late in the evening when youâd go in to play cards with friends, he would be sitting at the bar with Tommy, drinking and talking in low voices. You had always been friendly, saying âhi Mr. Miller!â all brightly, smiling and sweet. Every time he would give you an awkward ââlloââ and then look away as if you were dangerous to look at for too long. You had always found him attractive, but he continuously hurt your feelings.Â
âWhy are you staring at Joel?â Elli asked, knocking you from your thoughts as you stared out the window.Â
âOh I just didnât realize he took care of the sheep,â You said, making up an excuse. Ellie snorted with brief laughter,Â
âHonestly, I think the sheep are the old fuckerâs best friends. He definitely likes them more than probably anyone else.â She said, glancing out the window.Â
âItâs kinda sweet,â You said, âShows he isnât just a closed off asshole,â You finished. Ellie shrugged, âOrrr it means heâs really closed off. Come help me move this desk,â She said. Â
The second week after you became friends with Ellie, it had really started to feel like springtime around Jackson and you had walked over to see if Ellie was home. When she hadnât answered your knocks on the door into the garage, you had wandered around the back of the building towards the paddock. You spotted Joel by the barn, so you put your foot up on the wooden fence and swung your leg over before hopping down and walking over.Â
âHey Mr. Miller!â You called as you approached him, he glanced over and then quickly looked away, as if the sight of you had burned him or something.Â
âHey,â His voice was gruff and short, âYou lookinâ for Ellie?â He asked. You walked up to him and shrugged, âI was, sheâs not here though, is she?â You asked.Â
âNope. On Patrol with Tommy,â He told you. It sounded like a dismissal, like you should leave. There was a sheep laying against the side of the barn, her breathing was a little heavy and Joel crouched down next to her, feeding her out of the palm of his hand. His forehead was pinched in worry. You didnât want to be dismissed. You had come all the way to the house and you liked animals. Maybe you could learn how to help with the sheep and if that meant getting to spend a little more time around Joel then so be it.Â
âIs something wrong with her?â You asked, crouching down next to Joel and reaching out to touch the sheepâs back, giving her a pat. Joel shifted so he wasnât close to touching you, and glanced over at you,Â
âNothinâ wrong, jusâ pregnant and ready to be done I âspose,â Joel said. You immediately cooed,Â
âAww thereâs going to be lambs soon?â you asked, excited, you turned your head to look at Joel, your fingers still in the sheeps slightly dirty wool. You watched as he nodded, âYup, hopefully not too long,â he said, he looked over at you and it was as if he hadnât been expecting you to be looking at him. He looked a little startled to meet your eyes, you watched as his eyes moved from yours to your cheeks, a little pink from the cool spring air, to your lips, slightly pursed as you watched him. âLook, darlinâ,â he stood up suddenly and the movement almost knocked you backwards into the mud. Him calling you âdarlinâ got your heart fluttering and your cheeks flushing. âI can tell Ellie you stopped by later if you-â
âI can help with the lambs when they come!â You interjected. âI love animals and I bet I could be a big help with the sheep, Iâd love to learn about it.â you told him hopefully. Joelâs eyes moved over your eager face, his brow was pinched in that familiar concern. It was like he was thinking of ways to reject you. You didnât understand, was he really just this anti-social or was it something about you specifically? You had seen him talking to other people just fine, while he wasnât the friendliest person he made conversation with them, but ever since the first time you met Joel he hadnât wanted to talk to you for long. And it wasnât like he just didnât pay attention to you, you had seen him looking at you almost as much as you had caught yourself staring at him. You would turn your head while talking to someone in the town square and he would be looking at you, as if you irritated him. You had once briefly thought maybe he was looking at you because he thought you were pretty but the fact that he never said more than a couple words to you dissuaded you of that.
âI dunno, Iâm guessinâ thereâs better things a girl like you-âÂ
âOh come on, Mr. Miller! I want to help out!â You grinned at him and for a split second, his face cleared of concern and he looked ten years younger but then the almost frustrated look was back but he shrugged, âAlright, if thatâs what ya want,â He said.Â
The fourth week after you became friends with Ellie, the sheep had been born and you had spent every day since at the paddock behind the Miller house. Joel had shown you all around the sheep barn, told you about their schedules, and taught you a lot but mostly you snuggled the newborn lambs while he did the heavy lifting. You had gotten him to stitch a few sentences together to you and even joked with him occasionally,Â
âNot sure why I let ya keep cominâ back if iâm going to be the only one haulinâ the shit,â He had said one afternoon while you sat on one of the rails of the wooden fence, cradling a lamb in your arms, one booted foot swinging back and forth and he cleaned out the stalls in the barn.Â
âDonât pretend like you donât like my company, Mr. Miller!â You called to him, rubbing the lamb under his chin. Joel snorted as he came out of the barn,Â
âIâd like it better if you did some chores,â he said, âInstead of snuggling the babies and then leavinâ me out here the second Ellie comes home.â it had sounded harsh but you could see the light in his eyes. He may tease you about helping but he hadnât ever insisted you pick up a shovel. You blushed,
âDo you miss me when I leave ya, Mr. Miller?â You asked boldly, eyes shining with mischief as you looked over at him.Â
âI told ya to call me, Joel, darlinââ He said, not answering your question.Â
One day that week you had shown up in a dress, it had been too warm for jeans, and snuggling lambs wasnât such hard work that you needed to wear work clothes. When Joel saw you walking up in boots and a floaty cotton dress he had rolled his eyes,
âWeâre droppin all pretenses now, aint we?â He asked.Â
âI donât know what you mean, Mr Millerâ You answered lightheartedly as you climbed up and over the fence. You knew he had wanted you to call him Joel, but the way Mr. Miller slid off your tongue like honey was too good to pass up. Joelâs eyes raked over you as you threw a leg over the fence and hopped down, your dress fluttering around your thighs.Â
âMhm,â he said. âYou go prancing around town like this a lot?â he asked, you looked over at him, his eyes had darkened slightly and you wondered if it pissed him off that you hadnât even come dressed like you could do work if he needed you to.Â
âNo? I meanâŚI wear dresses sometimes,â You admitted, âYou know that,â you added. He had seen you in dresses before, not that you thought he had noticed. He raised his eyebrows and said nothing, going back to his work. You spent the afternoon with the lambs and their mother, taking them farther out into the paddock to let their mother eat the clover there while you bottle fed the two babies. You caught Joel looking over at you three times that day. Once he was stopped just outside the barn and watching as you knelt in the grass in front of one of the lambs, you had felt his eyes on you so you made sure you smiled and looked cute while you fed the lamb with the bottle. You wanted him to look at you, you wanted your wildest fantasies of Joel Miller thinking you were pretty to come true. Finally you allowed yourself to turn and catch him looking, when he saw you look back at him he hurriedly kept working.Â
The second time, you were bent over, picking up one of the lambs and when you straightened up, your cheeks flushed as you caught Joel staring at you from just a few yards away. You realized you had probably shown off too much when you bent over, your underwear might have even been peeking out. Mortified it was you who broke away from this gaze, you refused to look back up until you could hear Joel open the door to the equipment shed.Â
The last time was when you were leading the lambs and their mother sheep back towards the barn, you were going to go home soon and you were twisting the hem of your dress around your finger over and over again, pulling it shorter and shorter absentmindedly. You were focused on the lambs, hurrying them along when you turned and noticed Joel filling a bucket with water at a spigot, it was unmistakable that his eyes were on your legs. You knew your body shouldnât warm at the thought of him looking at you like that. He was the father of a good friend of yours. He was at least 40 years older than you. You hadnât meant to try and show off to him but what if he thought you were just that type of girl now? What he thought shouldnât matter to you, but it did and so when he looked up and noticed you had caught him looking again, you were the one who looked away in shame even though it should have been him.Â
Once you got the lambs and their mother put into their stall in the barn you came out and looked around for Joel. He was standing by the fence, leaning against it and watching the sun slowly begin to sink behind the mountains. You wandered over to him and stood next to him, you could smell him when you stood so close. Something like heady leather, rich coffee beans and the tang of the outdoors and man. You wanted to bury your nose in his shoulder to keep smelling it.Â
âMr. Miller-â You started to say but before you could apologize for wearing a dress, for not doing enough chores, for anything you might have done to upset him, ever, he grabbed your upper arm, turning so you were the one pushed up against one of the fence posts. His hand dropped from your arm to your hip, keeping you snug against the wood. The movement knocked the wind out of you, your mouth fell open and you let out a little, oof.Â
âKnock it off with that Mr. Miller shit,â Joel breathed. His body was so close to you, one of his legs wedged between yours, his large hand tight on your hip, pressing through the fabric of your dress and squeezing your flesh.Â
âIâm sor-â âDonât say it.â He growled, âYou come to my house lookinâ like-â he cut himself off, his eyes moving down your frame, raking over every bit of you, making you feel even more exposed than you already did. His lips twisted in what seemed like it was distaste, but he couldnât take his eyes off of you. âNext time you come over here, you better go back to being a good girl and wear jeans or somethinâ otherwise Iâll be fixinâ to do somethinâ Iâll regret.â His voice was dangerous and it set something boiling in you. You stared up at him, eyes wide, unsure. Joelâs dark eyes felt like flames as they stared down at you, scorching you, tearing at you. You wanted to be a good girl, but even more than that, you wanted him to do that thing heâd regret,
âBut, Mr. Miller-â The words slipped out of you, and you couldnât finish the sentence before his hand found your jaw. His thumb pressed into one cheek, his fingers pressed into the other, making you look up at him.
âEnough of that.â he said. âDonât let me catch you in a dress like that again.â He said and it sounded like nothing but a challenge. He pushed you back slightly as he took a step away from you and then turned and left you there in the darkening paddock.Â
The fifth week you were friends with Ellie, you wore a dress every single day but Joel hid for you. He signed up for Patrol on the day you were supposed to go to help with the sheep. He was never at the pub or the mess hall at the same time as you. You spent time with Ellie in the converted garage, talking about friends, about Ellieâs girlfriend, and you tried your absolute hardest not to ask her about Joel and whether or not he had asked about you. You stayed late at her place, playing cards, and when you lost your third hand of Egyptian Ratscrew you decided to head home. As you were saying goodbye, you noticed a light flick on in Joelâs place. Your heart skipped at least two beats and as soon as Ellieâs door closed, leaving you in darkness, your feet changed course from the road that lead back to the mainstreet of town and to the nearby house. You walked along the driveway and to the front door where there was less of a chance of Ellie seeing you than the back door. You werenât even sure what you were going to do when he answered the door, what reason you were possibly going to give for coming to his house late at night, the instant you saw that he was home but your feet led you to the door anyway and before you knew it, you were knocking.Â
When Joel answered the door you looked exhausted and wary, his expression turned to something you couldnât quite recognize the second he saw you standing there, booted toes pressed together, thin dress still swishing around your thighs from your movement. Maybe the expression was irritation, maybe it was shock, maybe it was hunger.Â
âMr. Miller,â You said, testing it in your mouth, unsure of what words would come next even as you spoke. You didnât have an excuse. The title served as a propellant, something that burned fast and hot, sending Joel careening into you. He took one step over the threshold of the door, towering above you and then grabbed both your forearms and tugged you hard. Your immediate reaction was to try and put your arms up to push him back but he held you firm and gave you a little shake,
âI told you not to let me catch you wearing a dress again, little girl.â He said. You struggled with him for a second, trying to shake your forearms out of his grip, but it was no use and you didnât really want to anyway. You stuttered for a second,
âIâmâŚIâm sorry, Mr. Miller,â The honeyed burn of that caused him to drag you over the threshold of his front door and slam it behind him.Â
âYouâre gunna be, darlinââ Joel dragged you through the entryway of the house and into the kitchen. He pushed you back into the counter, his body pressing into you again, his breath against your face. âYou really think you can just be flirtinâ with me, tease me for weeks and then show up at my house in the middle of the night when Iâve been doinâ my damn best to avoid you?âÂ
You wanted to say you hadnât meant to tease him, you hadnât thought you were flirting, but thinking back on it, you had always gone out of your way to say hi. You had fluttered your eyelashes at him, and flipped your hair. Had you been that blatant? âN-no! I didnât mean-â You started but you couldnât even finish it.Â
âYou just a little slut, is that it?âJoel asked, his hands started to bunch up your dress around your hips. You gasped. No, you werenât a slut, you hadnât ever had sex. You hadnât ever had a boyfriend. You hadnât wanted to make any time for the boys in Jackson but you had been wanting Joel for a while. You tried to protest but again, the words died in your throat before they could come out because Joel was holding your dress bunched up in one hand while running a thick finger along the waistband of your underwear. âIs this what youâve been wanting?â He breathed, his forehead was pressed into yours, you could feel his hot breath and his body pressing into yours. Yes, you did want it, but admitting that was admitting you had been acting this way specifically to get it.
âN-No!â You whined, pressing your back against the counter, trying to get away from his prying fingers but also desperately wanting it. âJ-Joel!â You gasped as his hand pushed into your underwear, his fingers dipped into your slick folds, his middle finger slid up the seam of your pussy. When he reached the crest of your labia, his fingers seamlessly found your clit and tapped it, sending a spasm of pleasure through you. As quickly as he had shoved his hand into your underwear, he pulled it out, holding it up in front of your face to show off his fingers coated in your slick.
âDoes this seem like no, to you, little darlin?â He asks, his voice sardonic. Your brow furrows as you look at your own juices coating his fingers.Â
âJoel, I-Iâve never-â You whine and squirm where youâre standing, not sure how to say it, suddenly nervous this will all stop if you tell him. Joel reaches up with the hand that had so painfully briefly been touching your slit and cups your chin, surprisingly gentle,
âNever what, baby? Come on, spit it out, little girl.â His voice is husky, he leans in towards you, his nose pressing into the hollow of your cheek.Â
âIâve never been touched likeâŚlike that,â You manage to blurt out and Joelâs whole body seems to pause. For a moment you think heâs going to stop, heâs going to push you away and tell you to get lost, that youâre too young. But then the hand cupping your chin tightens and you feel his sharp, scratchy stubble against your cheek as he gives you a wet kiss there. He pulls back,
âAint no one but meâs ever got the pleasure of touchinâ that pretty pussy?â he asks, there was a smile in his voice and you relax a little, he wasnât about to shove you away. You shake your head slowly, looking up at him, your eyes meeting his. âWell, I should get proper acquainted with her then, shouldnât I?â The words made everything in your body feel wobbly, like liquid sloshing around. His hands grab your hips and lift you backwards onto the counter. Joel shoves your knees apart and his fingers drag up your thigh towards your undies. You watch as his head tilts down to look between your bodies, his fingers moving to hook into the side of your underwear and pull them aside. Nerves make you try and clamp your legs shut and push him back, whining his name in protest at him looking at your naked sex.Â
âAw, sweetheart, I just want a little peek at her,â He convinces softly, you still whine but let his hands pry your thighs apart. His hand slips down your leg to your ankle and grabs it, pushing it back so your heel is pressed into the counter and your legs are splayed open, your body leaning back slightly. Your heart races, the idea of being exposed to his eyes is too much, you know youâre soaking through your underwear and now he can see that. Joel looks down over your undies and slowly lets go of your ankle, making sure youâll keep it there. His pointer finger slides down your thigh to your undies, very carefully pulling them to the side, his eyes drinking up the view. âohh, pretty girl,â he says. âYouâre soakinâ for me, darlin.â He says, his eyes flick up to your face. Your whole face is red with embarrassment and desire. Joel brings his thumb up to his mouth, licks it and strokes your clit. Your breath catches in your throat, your heart hammers. All the times you had tried to touch yourself had never even come close to the way this felt. You let out a moan, your head falling back against your shoulders.Â
Joel watches his thumb circle your clit, setting a steady, dizzying pace. âGood girl,â Joel said as you mewl out moans. Your body is blazing with pleasure, you can feel yourself dripping, you had never been wet like this before and itâs all because of his thumb softly circling around your clit, barely grazing it and then flicking over it in a mesmerizing pattern. âLook at her,â Joel says with a short chuckle, âShe keeps getting wetter.â His gaze fixed on your pussy and you let out a string of whines.Â
Your orgasm is starting to build, you can feel it burning inside you, growing and pulsing, so close but not quite there yet. Joelâs thumb strokes over your clit and your breath catches in your throat,
âYou close, little darlin?â He asked, âI can see your cunt clenching on nothingâŚ.she needs something in her, doesnât she?â You nod vigorously, unable to talk, unable to form a coherent thought. You didnât care that you had never had anything inside of you, you needed his thick fingers. Your eyes open and look down at him, his face is tilted down, examining your sex, his grey peppered hair pushed back away from his face. His eyes move up to meet yours,
âBeg me for it, sweetheart.â he says, his eyes dark with lust. Your mouth falls open, your brow furrows and you shake your head,Â
âC-canât.â You whined, pressing your hips forward towards his finger as it continues its slow calculated pace of stroking your clit.Â
âYes you can, beg me to fill you up. Your poor, soaking pussy needs it, darlin. Come on, use those words I know you have.â He coaxed. You had never felt so filthy, you wanted to beg for his thick fingers in your virgin pussy but you couldnât find the words, your brain was mush. âBeg.â he instructed. You whined, feeling like you were going insane and finally the words tumbled out of you,
âPleaseâŚplease, please fill me up. Finger me, J-Joel. I need it in my pussy. Oh god, please, Iâm soaking for it, she needs your fingers in her, please, Joel!â You babbled and whined as his thumb continued to stroked around and around your clit, occasionally swiping over it, bringing you closer and closer to that building orgasm.Â
âSay, âplease finger fuck me, Mr. Miller.ââ He instructed, his middle finger notching itself at your entrance, not quite pushing in, just teasing your hole.Â
âughhhh!! Please! Please finger fuck me, Mr. Miller!â You moaned out, louder than you thought you were capable of. Joel let out a satisfied chuckle but instead of pushing that middle finger into your eager hole, his whole hand moved away from your throbbing sex. He delicately took the side of your undies and replaced them back over your swollen sex.Â
âWha- oh godâŚno! Joel!â You whined, pressing your hips forward, your cunt clenching on nothing.Â
âNuh-uh,â Joel said, looking over your face, smirking. âYou spent weeks teasing me.â
âI didnât know I was-â âBullshit, little darlinââ Joel said. ââPlease, Mr. Miller can I please spend all my time at your house caring for the cute little lambs, bending over and dressinâ like a slutââ He mimicked you meanly and raised his eyebrow at you. âIf youâre going to act like a naughty girl, Iâm going to treat you like a naughty little girl.â He said, leaning down to be level with you. You stared at him, feeling like you might go completely crazy. You opened your mouth and then closed it again. Joel pressed his lips to yours in a soft, chaste kiss. When he pulled away he touched your nose,Â
âSay âthank you, Mr. Miller.ââ he insisted.Â
âThank you, Mr. Miller,â You mumbled, dazed.Â
âGood girl, will you come check on the lambs tomorrow?â he asked, his eyes twinkling. âEllie is on patrol all day.â Joel stroked his finger down the bridge of your nose. You gazed up into his eyes and nodded.Â
âYup, I really think sheep keeping is super interesting.â You said, still dazed and needy.

đŚš × đ BEYOND THE JOB // JJK
daddy jungkook (literally)
; babysitting the cutest angel on earth is the perfect job. (except when her father is fucking hot and wants all of you)
+ comment if u wnna be added to the taglist
â 1/??
âseriously though, you have to fuckinâ quit that job already.â
Sasha, who happens to be your best friend ever since you started working at the local elementary school, just lectured you again. she was already teaching there when you arrived, you spent your lunch breaks with her and even be each otherâs substitute sometimes.
surprisingly, she quit a few months after that. you stayed close though. at first, she was dying to know the drama happening among the teaching staff, but as shit kept going down which included you and the principal, all you ever hear from her is that you need to quit.
it wasnât a huge surprise to her when you first told her your boss, aka the schoolâs principal, asked you out. it was weird, but everyone knew he was.. a little desperate. he had asked most of the female teachers out, some who agreed could only say bad things about the experience.
you declined his offer politely, explaining that you donât want your personal life to mix with your job. it was awkward after that, but turns out he seems to be the dumbest person on earth. he asked you out two weeks after that, again.
still to this day, he keeps asking you out over and over and you keep rejecting him over and over again. sure, he got a lilâ crush on you, sweet, right? fuck no. heâs a pervert, doesnât know what personal space is.
âbut i need the money. i donât know where else i could get such good salary.â you told her, for the nth time.
âbe a stripper,â Sasha casually said, sipping on her diet coke while your eyes widened.
âdonât say nonsense, dafuq..â you both shared a giggle, but you definitely wonât put that job idea on the bottom of your list. maybe in the middle, or top 5. if you really canât find a good place, then gotta be top 3.
âyou could be one until you save enough money, then look for a less crazy one.â
âthereâs never enough money, sasha.â you sighed, fuck inflation. when you grew up and finished studying, you realized the hardest part of being an adult was money. itâs crazy how difficult it is to make a living.
âif you donât give in your quitting notice tomorrow, iâm gonna do it for you instead.â she narrowed her eyes at you.
âi donât want to make a decision too quick. not until i know i can find another job.â
âquit.â
âno.â
âquit.â
âno.â
âquit.â
âŚ
âokay.â
she squealed in her chair, gaining some attention on the two of you.
âif you dare to lie to me right now, iâm gonna make you eat your own shit.â
you kicked her under the table, sending her a glare. âbehave, bitch.â
â ⪊⪨  â
âoh, __! what brings you here today?â your boss, sehun immediately stood up from his chair, ready to greet you with a hug.
panicking, you reached your hand out with a paper, catching his attention. âthis is..?â
âmy resignation notice, sir.â
âyour what?â
he took the paper from your grip, examining it carefully. his eyebrows fell together, eyes scanning every single word.
he backed up, resting on the edge of his table. he looked at the paper again, rereading the first sentence.
âKindly accept this letter as my formal resignationâŚâ
âare you sure, __?â he asked, putting the paper on his table. he crossed his arms, frustration written on his face.
you fixed your hair, giving him a firm nod. âyeah, iâve been thinking of it for a while now.â
âiâm glad i could be a part of this amazing team, but i just feel like,â you struggled to find the words, obviously you didnât want to tell in his face.
âaye bruh, stop beinâ a pervert and you might stop losing your workersâ
âlook, teaching isnât my thing. and i feel horrible to find that out so late.â
âwell, if your passion for teaching ever comes back, youâre more than welcomed here.â
âthank you,â you smiled, because even though heâs the most annoying person youâve ever met, your co-workers have always been kind to you.
the children also love you, and youâre extremely thankful for all the support and love you got from everyone.
during the usual lunch break, you co-workers heard the news too. they all wished you the best with a hug, some getting emotional too.
officially, this was your last week working at the school.
when you got home, sasha sent you a link to an advertisement.
âlooking for a nannyâ
you laughed, dialing her contact. didnât take her long to answer, obviously. sheâs always on her damn phone, even when working.
âyou canât be serious. a nanny?â you laughed, finding the idea of you with a kid ridiculous.
âhave you seen the description? girl, they pay damn well!â she said, followed by her exhaling.
âdidnât you say youâre gonna stop smoking?â
âi stopped. for three hours.â
you shook your head, putting her on speaker as you clicked the advertisement.
â170.000âŠ?â you blurted out loud, âa day?!â sasha hummed on the other side of the call.
âtold yaâ..â
âthatâs.. nice. woah, yeah, nice.â you mumbled as you continued to read the requirements and some important details about the job.
âgive it a try.â sasha said, but your eyes caught a sentence.
âthey want someone with experience, as expected.â you let out a long sigh and fell back on your bed.
âyou got the experience.â
âme? sasha, i never looked after a kid-â
âyou work with kids. first and second graders. and they all fuckinâ love you.â
âthatâs different.â you groaned.
âitâs not. a kid is a kid. 3 year olds are just as damn annoying as 7 year olds. prove me wrong..â
you laughed, she was right. they can be a huge pain in the ass, but they have the purest soul.
âtrue.â
âgive it a try, __.â she said again, calling you by your name. oh sheâs serious serious.
âyeah, i might call tomorrow then.â
âmight? no, you will.â she corrected you and you rolled your eyes.
âsure.â
you called them the next day after considering it for half a day, being the typical embarrassment, you called at the wrong time.
the man was in a hurry, so you both just quickly agree on a time to meet in person. that happened to be the day after.
you looked at the address one more time after you got off the bus, realizing it was more of a wealthy neighborhood. you only had to walk about 5 minutes until you got there, hesitantly but you pressed the bell.
a tall, young man opened the door. his skin is smooth and fair, almost perfect. his hair dark, slightly wavy which was styled in a mullet cut, longer at the back.
his choice in clothes seemed to be rich, a white ribbed polo shirt with short sleeves, causing your eyes to drop to his sleeve tattoo in a second. he paired it with black tailored trousers.
âhey, you must be __?â he asked with uncertainty and you came back to life, smiling to him.
âyeah, i am.â
âgreat, come in.â
he stepped aside and you walked in, taking off your shoes and jacket.
the house was oddly barely decorated, not a single picture or painting on the walls, very few plants, which youâre sure are fake plants also. the house wasnât really colorful, most of the furnitures are bright. like beige and cream white.
âwould you like a drink? water, tea, soda? maybe coffee?â he suggested as he walked in front of you, leading you to the living room.
âno, thank you.â you politely refused, feeling a little.. off in such a nice home. not something youâre used to.
you sat down on the couch, carefully not to mess the neatly placed pillows behind. god you looked so uncomfortable and awkward.
âiâd like to introduce myself again, in person this time.â he spoke as he sat down on the armchair, next to the couch.
âiâm jeon jungkook, 27. iâm a dentist in the center of seoul. iâm the father of a sweet angel, nabi. she turns 5 in a few weeks, we could say sheâs in her, erm,â he struggled to find an appropriate word.
âcrazy phase?â you asked with a smile.
âyeah, something like that. sheâs been loud lately, thatâs all.â he chuckled, resting his arms on his knees.
you nodded and held your small bag tightly, âiâd like to introduce myself better too, then.â
âiâm __, 24 and i currently work at an elementary school. i handed in my resignation letter and this is my last week as a teacher, so iâm searching for a new job currently.â
you paused, hesitant what else to say.
âelementary school? so, you work with kids?â
âyes, first and second grade.â
after a few minutes of getting to know each other more, a little girl, most likely his daughter, walked down the stairs with her sleepy appearance.
âoh!â she stopped the moment she saw you, the tiredness leaving her eyes.
ânabi, câmere.â jungkook held out his hand, âthis is __. what do you say?â he asked her, holding her tiny hands.
âhello.â she greeted you and you smiled, her shyness is adorable.
âhi.â
â__ is here because she would like to look after you.â he said and she looked up to him so fast, you thought her neck would snap.
âdaddy, are you leeving me?â she gasped and jungkook chuckled at her words, shaking his head.
âno, but when iâm at work, someone needs to be here and take care of you. how about __, does she seem nice? hm?â
the little girl shrugged, hugging her fatherâs arm. he sent her back to the bedroom, saying he would be there soon too.
âwell, sheâs a little shy at first but, i think sheâs gonna open up fast.â he smiled and stood up, your eyes widening a bit and you stood up too.
âdoes that mean, i got the job?â
âsee you next monday?â he asked and you almost started jumping, but you held back. instead, you gave him a huge smile and nodded.
âmonday then.â

HIIIII we missed you a lot around here. Can you please write super clingy Paul?
i missed all of you!!!!
...
"don't move," paul mumbled into the pillow, half asleep but he still managed to keep a pretty tight grip around you as he pulled you into his side.
the angle itself was quite awkward with paul laying on his stomach, one arm tossed haphazardly over your figure as you attempted to get out of bed. although you could generally find paul spooning you or engaging in a more traditional form of cuddling, after 8 hours of sleep, paul almost always made his way back to his stomach as he slept. though, he always managed to keep some body part of his on you. you weren't entirely sure if it was some sort of security thing for him or just a habit he'd developed since dating you but it currently didn't make much of a difference as he seemed pretty intent on keeping you in bed with him.
"paul," you giggled his name, rolling onto your other side so you could face him. paul, still half asleep with his face buried in the pillow, seized the opportunity and pulled you even closer to his side. you laughed again as he got one hand firmly wedged around your side, resting on your ribcage, "it's been like 10 hours since we've gotten up, i gotta eat," you mused, running one hand up his arm and neck to thread your fingers through his inky hair.
paul grumbled something incoherent into the pillow, and before you had a second to ask what he was talking about, he was lifting his head to look over at you, "food?" he repeated back to you and you let out another giggle, laughing as you scratched at his scalp.
"preferably lots of it. i'm starving," you joked, squealing when he tightened his grip on your side to roll you over to the other side of him, "paul!" you laughed, moving to get up again but he just squeezed you again, not-so-subtly letting you know he definitely didn't want you going anywhere anytime soon.
"i've got some in the nightstand," his voice was still raspy as he woke himself up, one hand still firmly around you while the other one reached around blindly at your nightstand for a moment before he latched onto whatever food stash he apparently kept in your bedroom without telling you.
"a granola bar?" you asked when he handed it to you, "how long has that been in there for? and why are you keeping food in here? the kitchen is like-" you started but your ramblings were cut short as paul rolled onto his side to wrap both arms around you, pulling you tightly into his chest.
"don't worry about it princess," he mumbled against your hair, "don't gotta get up now, yea?" he added after a moment, smiling to himself when he heard your resigned sigh followed by the sound of the granola bar unwrapping.

Could you do a one-shot where alastor is super nervous when meeting reader, not really on his face but more his body language where when she shakes his hand he continues shaking it or doesn't let go immediately. nervous smile too lol, thanks love your stuff!!
Heeey I wrote it hope you don't mind some interpretation on my part! You didn't mention why Alastor was nervous so I just did whatever ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ Tags: Oblivious Alastor, Cartoonist Writer, Humor, awkward affection, Alastor is either oblivious or in-denial, Nifty is Nifty and you should all love her
-----------------------
Alastorâs introduction to you was not a willing one. Charlie had started a bit of a bookclub at the Hotel as some odd attempt at bonding. Alastor wanted no part of it, but after the 532nd time Charlie asked him he said something particularly scathing and the princess was cruel and told Vaggie, and the ex-exorcist would NOT stop stabbing his door until he finally relented.
Of course, his choice of book was one called âBlankâ. It was a notebook with nothing written in it. Very easy to discuss at a bookclub.
Charlotte was not impressed and Vagatha once again starting throwing vague threats in his direction. How tempted he was to just kill both of them, but alas this hotel has been the greatest form of entertainment heâs had in years (is what he tells himself.)
Darling Nifty came to his rescue, offering up a variety of different light-reading to be discussed in the future. Most of which wereâŚ.not to his taste. Niftyâs interests highlighted most definitely, but Alastor quickly chucked the books out the window when the story turned to âŚ.that.
As the number of books dwindled, he was just about prepared to give up on this stack entirely and fetch something meaningless to pretend to read (whoâd check, anyway?).
He picked up one, a flimsy comic-book like thing and rolled his eyes once before giving it a go. The story wasnât anything particularly interesting. The plot was just two bunnies going to get some ice cream. But the wordplay, the exaggeration of all the smallest obstacles, how self-aware and absurd it was gave him a good laugh. The Radio Demonâs first introduction to your work.
Although the bookclub idea ended up going nowhere, Alastor found himself seeking out more of your works. Another about a man just making a taco, one about a woman folding her laundry. So many little, day-to-day situations amplified to a ridiculous amount. Clever one-liners and humorous puns sprinkled throughout kept it intelligent enough for him to maintain interest despite the absurdity of it all.
Eventually he got a cartoon you drew that seemed just the same as the rest. Some random cute cartoon raccoon drawing some random little cartoon things. There was a scene in it though that stuck to Alastorâs mind (and dare he say, heart) like glue.
In it, the raccoon was confronted by a shark. âWhy do you bother making these?â the shark sneered âNo one reads these but you, no one looks at them but you, thereâs no point.â
âWhy does there need to be a point?â The raccoon said. Alastorâs ears straightened up on their own accord as he read âEven if no one sees it, itâs something I made and itâs some I enjoyed making.â
âEven if you put it out there, no one will care about it.â
âSomeone will. They might not say anything but thereâll always be at least one.â
âDo you know how stupid you sound? No one gives a crap about your âpassionsâ!â
âI do.â
âDo you know how stupid you sound-â
And then the raccoon pressed a button and an anvil fell onto the shark, comedically turning it into a pancake. âYour argument doesnât have any depth.â The raccoon said. The story moved on from there.
It struck a bit of a chord with Alastor, he could admit that much to himself. And the raccoonâs way of dealing it was something heâd keep in mind for his next encounter with an annoyance. He didnât put much stock in it, as storytellers and their stories donât always agree on all things.
Your comics were a little joyful distraction when he needed them, that was all. Nothing deep and profound.
âBOSS!â
Alastor slammed shut the book he was reading, his grin never faltering though his twitching ears indicated a slight nervousness. He tilted his head in acknowledgement. âHello, Nifty! Did you need something?â
Nifty scamped up his chair and onto his lap, settling down andstaring up at him with her one big eye. âBOSS BOSS BOSS BOSS I MET THE DEMONESS WHO DRAWS THOSE CARTOONS YOU LIKEâ
Alastorâs eye twitched âOh? Well, thatâs neat.â
She stood up, squishing his face between her hands and stared more as her grin grew wider and more manic âDid you want to meet her?â
Yes
âNow, now, Nifty.â Alastor said as he removed her hands from his face âThereâs better ways to waste oneâs time.â
Nifty tilted her head, staring at him as though it would allow her to see into his mind. Her expression shifted intoâŚ.One he hadnât seen on Nifty, admittedly. The best way he could describe it was âsmugâ. But what would she have to be smug about?â
âIf you say so, Boss!â She chirped, hopping off his lap and trotting off âBut yeah I was at the Evermore Book-Store and she was there working âcause I guess thatâs what she does for a livngâŚ.â Niftyâs voice faded away as the little maid walked off, not caring her rambling were being said to no one.
After Alastor had finished his errands for the day, he happened by that very storeâŚforâŚReasons. Upon entering it, he realized he had no idea who- what- he was looking for. The store itself wasnât large. A couple patrons, one large hulking demon with tiny spectacles at the desk and a much smaller one organizing shelves.
One of the workers, then?
Not that he cared.
âPardon me!â Alastor chirped to the desk demon. Their big eyes seemed to move in slow motion to him, a low grunt accompanying the acknowledgement. âIâm looking for someone, yes? The author of some silly comics?â
The demon slowly narrowed their eyes, lips curling up into a snarl as a growl emanated from them.
âAh, so she is here?â
The demon planted their very large hands on the desk, pushing themselves up to stand at their full height. They were taller than Alastor by a good three feet, and much more muscular as well. Their nostrils flared, blowing hot air into his face.
Alastor wasnât the slightest bit phased. (He found it funny, actually). âSo may I speak to her?â
The large demon opened up their gaping jaw-
âThatâs me, hi! How can I help you?â The shelf-stacking demon interrupted, getting between Alastor and the clerk demon. A nervous little lady with a wobbly unsure smile and bags under her eyes that looked like they could carry the entirety of Hell in them.
Alastor held up one of your comics- a book that has been very obviously well-read âYouâre the creator of these splendid little things?â
âSplendidâŚ?â You repeated him, trailing off into an amused snort âEr. Yeah, I wrote and drew those.â The Clerk behind you closed their mouth, setting back down on their chair and adjusting their spectacles. The glare didnât leave Alastor.
âWell, my dear, I find I quite enjoy them! Itâs quite a pleasure to meet you.â Alastor said, not paying the larger (glowering) demon any mind. He found himself wondering why you were so tired and so timid. A woman like you should be so much more cheerful! Alastor was a tad offendedâŚ.Because you werenât smiling like he did. Thatâs it. Really.
âWell. Iâm glad you like them.â You said. âItâs nice to meet you, too.â You offered your hand for him to shake.
One of his ears twitched. You must be fairly new to Hell, to offer a handshake so easily. Or perhaps a bit sheltered or on the naïve side. Alastor briefly considered making a sly deal to take your soul, but⌠Well, there was no need for that.
He took your hand and gave it a firm shake. Your hand was so much smaller than his own, but it felt as though it warmed his entire body. This was strange. Perhaps you were casting some spells on him? Why was he finding it so hard to focus- why did he feel like he didnât know what to say next- why-
The Clerk gripped Alastorâs arm in between two fingers, gently but assertively pulling it away from you. You took half a step back, cradling your arm to your chest as if he burned you. Alastor glared up at the Clerk âIs there a problem?â
The large demon growled. You intervened again âErâŚ.You were just. Holding my hand for a while. It wasâŚâŚkind of weird.â
âAh.â Alastor cleared his throat, straightening his posture with a flourish âMy apologies! Mind was elsewhere, you know how it is with us creative types.â
You blinked. Then your timid smile turned a bit more confident. A bit moreâŚlike a smirk. âEr. Yeah, I guess so. Well. See you around, I guess?â
âIf I have the time, I suppose!â Alastor grinned âWell then, I must be off! Ta-ta!â
You watched as the strange demon disappeared into shadows and slivered off. As soon as all trace of him was gone, you laughed quietly into your hand âWell, I can certainly say for certain I know someone âawkward as hellâ now.â
Your friend groaned, gently pushing you over as they continued their own work.

Stay
Daryl Dixon x Reader one shot
desc: If I had asked you to stay, would you have?
wc: 3.074k
warnings/tags: not proof read!!! (Iâm so sorry I never have the patience to re-read) very slight swearing, slight(?)angst
âEverything changed that day.
The day Rick blew up the bridge to save his family, his friends - the other communityâs.
We all mourned; for a man that might not even be dead.
The changes were slow at first, no one knew what to do.
I thought our family broke the day we lost Glenn and Abraham, the day we could have lost Daryl. The day that could have been our last.
The day we lost Carl.
But then we lost rick.
Dead or alive.
We lost him.
Michonnes screams still ring in my ears at times, the kind of times where everything gets to quiet and thereâs no escape from it.
The expressions that glued on to everyoneâs faces like a still image at the front of my mind when I try to sleep.
And then it was over.â
Slamming your diary shut, chucking it in some random drawer on your desk: you leaned back on your chair blowing a stray hair out of your face, staring at a drawing Judith and Rj did of you and uncle Daryl.
Over time, you slowly withdrew yourself from the others.
Nothing was the same anymore, Rick wasnât around to keep everything in check and keep everyone together and gradually - everyone split for the most part.
Maggie left, leaving with Georgie in hopes of building a new community.
Michonne was mourning the love of her life, whilst bringing up Judith and Rj; the son Rick never got the chance to know about.
Carol and Ezekiel ruled over the kingdom.
Daryl left to go find his brother.
So you kept to yourself and mourned not only Rick, but your family too.
Three knocks sounded outside your room alerting your attention and snapping you back into reality yet again.
âComing.â You acknowledged whoever was standing on the other side of that door.
Sighing you stood up and walked over taking a grip on the door handle before pulling it open, âWhat?â You snapped.
Carols eyes gleamed at you as she spoke with a small smile on her lips, âHm, pleased to see you too Y/Nâ
âShit, sorry. I didnât know it was you.â You gave a thin lipped smile back to her.
âItâs fine. Come with me.â Before you could protest she grabbed your wrist and begun to drag you downstairs, heading straight to the front door and grabbing a backpack on the way.
âWhat are you doing? Are you going somewhere?â Why did she drag you down and out the house if she was just going to be leaving so quick?
âNo.â She stated.
âNo?â
âNo, Iâm not going somewhere. We are. Grab your stuff. Letâs goâ Carols little grin never leaving her face.
Youâd like to say youâre surprised at her bluntness and secrecy but sheâs always had this side to her, she just knows how and when to play it.
âŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤ
Youâd been walking for a while, thoughts racing through your mind on what Carol could be up too: what little plan sheâs concocted this time round.
You canât remember the last time you actually saw her. It was rare for her to visit Alexandria and when she did you were always cooped up in your room or out helping with whatever was asked of you.
She never came to Alexandria unless she was-
âStop.â You tried to assert dominance in your voice, yet the slight crack as you spoke didnât seem very convincing.
âStop walking Carol. I know what weâre doing out here. I need you to tell me why.â It was more of a statement than a question at this point.
She halted the second time round you spoke, muttering something to herself along the lines of âshitâ before turning and giving a smile, although it shared more resemblance to a grimace.
The kind of look a child gives to their parent after theyâve been caught doing something they definitely shouldnt be doing.
âY/N.. I had to do something. You need to see himâ She sounded exasperated.
âI had to do something because you havenât. After everything we all went through.
You shut down on us.
You wouldnât come out your room unless someone asked you for help with something.
You barely speak.
You just hide away, not letting anyone even attempt to get back in.
You let Daryl leave. You didnât even try to stop him! You let him continue with these.. these sick delusions that Rick is still out there somewhere. You love him, and you still let him leave.â
Carols never been one to be afraid to say what she thinks: although never with you.
âYou think I wanted things to be this way? I shut myself away because you left.
Maggie left. Michonne lost herself. I stepped back because it was the right thing to do at the time, furthermore it was still the right thing to do after the time passed.â Drawing in an uneven breath, you continued -
âI also didnât let Daryl leave. He left because itâs what he wanted. You know as well as I do, had I of tried to convince him to stay, it would have been pointless. He believes his brothers out there so he went looking for him! Just like you believed Sophia was out there and we went looking for her!â Panic struck you as you realised what you had said in your last sentence, how could you be so cruel to bring up a womanâs dead daughter?
Carol let out a puff of air before placing her hand on your forearm and then dragging you into her arms, almost cradling you.
âI know you didnât mean it. Itâs okay. But weâre going to see Daryl and thatâs final.â She backed up slightly, a hand cupping your jaw as she whispered, âYou donât deserve to lose the man you love, not in a world like this.â
âŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤ
Anxiety.
Itâs the only thing you could feel as you neared closer to the river Carol was due to meet Daryl at. You hadnât seen him in.. you couldnât even remember how long it had truly been.
All you remember was the day he packed his bag and announced he was heading out to look for Rick, entire belief filled with Rick being alive.
He came to see you before he left.
Explained why he was going: not saying how long heâd be gone.
You can still remember the feeling of his hands on your waist as he pulled you into his body, his head in the crook of your neck as tears lined up on your waterline; you remember making sure he didnât see them fall.
You remember the way he leaned back to look at you, one hand still on your waist with the other trailing up to the back of your head as his eyes bored into yours before eventually looking all over your face- avoiding your eyes the second time round.
The way his intense stare ended up on your lips for just maybe a couple of seconds too long for this to be considered only a friendship.
You can remember his face inching closer almost as if he was going to stop fighting the thoughts in his head and finally kiss you; but it never came.
His hands left your head, left your waist.
Then he was gone.
That was the last time you saw Daryl.
Carol stopped walking and glanced back at you, noticing the distant stare and she could tell you were deep in thought, thinking of him.
âWhy are you stopping? Come on! Weâre pretty much here.â
A few more steps forward with your head bowed down, you saw the river edge right before your feet.
Bracing yourself to hear his voice.
It never came.
âLetâs go. Heâs not here but he has to be around somewhere, his stuffâs still lying about.â Before you could complain and make the suggestion of heading back, Carols hand had yet again found its way to your wrist and she was dragging you behind her, determined to find him.
âŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤ
âHands up. Who are you and what are you doing on my property?â
Carol came to a quick halt, you bumping into her back as she dropped your wrist and slowly raised her hands, glancing at you with her eyes telling you to follow her actions.
You raised your hands right as the woman repeated her earlier questions.
You could practically hear the cogs turning in Carols brain before she decided to take on a familiar role, the role of the innocent helpless lady sheâs played many times before -
âPl- please donât.. donât shoot us. We donât have anything on us. J-just trying to find a friend. Weâll leave, right now.. weâll go. Just please.. d-donât hurt us.â
You fought hard to not chuckle at her.
How couldnât you?
She plays it so well.
âWhatâs goinâ on?â
Anything that was going to come out of your mouth, whether it be words or just air; got stuck.
Heâs here.
Heâs safe.
He looks healthy.
He looks.. happier.
âY/N? Carol?â Daryl couldnât believe what he was seeing. Heâd seen Carol on and off since he left Alexandria, of course he had; sheâs his best friend. Who else would care more than his best friend to keep bringing him supplies?
Seeing Y/N however, had him dumbfounded.
The look of rage the lady holding the shotgun at you and Carol had, never seem to let up before she spoke again.
âYou know these people?â
âYeah, sâmy family.â He muttered to her.
Maybe this really was a mistake.
You shouldnât have come.
Raising an eyebrow at you both, the woman whispered to Daryl then turned her back and headed inside, not without shooting you and Carol one last glare.
âWhoâs âlittle miss Iâm gonna shove a gun in random peopleâs faces and give relentless attitude until they tell me what I demand to know from themâ?â Carols voice taking on a higher pitch as she mimicked the stranger.
This time you couldnât hold back on the chuckle that left your lips.
Darylâs eyes shot over to you, making you put your head back down and shove Carol slightly to make her talk as you hoped to just blend into the background again.
âCame to bring you stuff.â She chucked the bag at his feet before continuing on, âYou were supposed to be at the river but obviously you had.. better plans. So we just followed the paths that looked most used and here we are. Surprise! Excited?â Sarcasm dripping from her voice the longer she spoke to him.
No one made any attempt to move or speak, so Carol spoke up again,
âI need to go for a pee. Iâll be back.â Her hand landing on your shoulder, her eyes looking into yours practically begging you to at least try and talk to him.
âHow-â
âIs-â
You both began to speak at the same time.
You took this as the opportunity to quickly spit out some words, make him talk first to ease the tension.
âSorry. You first.â
âHowâre yer doinâ?â It was a murmur, but it was something from him.
âIâm-â taking a slight pause, debating between telling him the absolute truth or just making up a load of bullshit, the latter being more appealing.
âIâm good. Thanks. How about you?â
âGood. Iâm aâright. Iâm still searching. I ainât givinâ up. Not till I find âimâ Daryl was fiddling with his fingers, a telltale sign to you that he was just as nervous as you were.
He nodded his head towards a little bench, signalling you to sit with him.
Your mind is telling you to run as fast as you can, escape this situation before itâs too late.
Your feet move before you can take notice of your mind.
âŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤ
The silence was beginning to grow deafening. Carol was yet to return, you knew she wasnât going to though.
Not until you and Daryl had a somewhat decent, somewhat truthful conversation.
She was probably crouched down in one of the many bushes surrounding you, eavesdropping on everything youâre yet to say to one another.
âAre you any closer? To finding him? Finding anything?â The question slipped out before you could stop it.
Truth is, you werenât certain you wanted to know.
Either way it would end in shit creek somehow.
A grunt left Daryl, âNah. I ainât gonna stop till I do tho.â
All you could do was nod in acknowledgment to him.
âHowâs Alexandria? Michonne ân the kids? Yerself?.â
How were you expected to answer this?
Heâd already asked you about yourself before, why again?
You stammered over your words before sighing and deciding you may as well be honest,
âItâs fine.. I guess. I donât really see Michonne much nowadays. The kids are great, they come see me every so often usually with a new drawing or some fun new fact Judith read in one of her homework books. Sometimes they come to see me just to see if Iâm okay.â You couldnât help but sign again.
âThaâs good. Least the kids are okay. Yâself? Yânever answered me.â
Daryl adored those kids so much. You could only imagine how much he must miss them. Miss his home, though youâre certain he doesnât class it as that anymore.
âFine.â What else could you say?
âJusâ fine?â
âIâm alive, arenât I? That classes as fine in my books.â
âMissed yer sarcasm, missed ya.â
Darylâs confession of missing you made your heart thump the strongest it has in a long time, before it plummeted to your stomach and presented itself as a nauseous feeling.
âYou seem like youâre doing well. Got a hot new girlfriend huh?â God, you tried to crack a smile and seem like you were happy for him but the words seemed to burn your throat as they rose up and scorched your lips the minute they left.
Daryl instantly noticed the disdain you had to the words that came from your own mouth.âNah, sânot like thaâ.â
His accent came out thicker in just that short sentence. Was he lying to you, to reserve your own feelings from getting hurt? To stop you getting upset with him?
âOh. Keeping your bed warm then.â
Once those words left your mouth you began to doubt yourself.
Perhaps you should have adjusted your tone as you spoke; made it more of a question.
âNo. Itâs.. sâcomplicated sâall.â
Daryl found his mind wandering, stirring up all the things he wishes to say.
He used to see you every morning, go on a run for supplies and come back with numerous different stories to tell you.
Even made some of them up just to have an excuse to talk to you for longer.
Now he hasnât seen you in so so long and heâs completely jammed up. Canât find anything to say that will make this situation better.
âCan I ask you something?â It was now or never for you. You knew youâd most likely not see him again for an incredibly long time, if at all. So it seemed like the right time to ask him whatâs been playing on your mind.
He hummed at you, edging you to continue with whatever you wanted to ask me.
You were so sure of what you were about to say, but hesitation still snuck in on you from every angle.
âThe day you left. When.. when you held me at my door. Did.. were..â you trailed off, you felt so fucking stupid asking him, regret for even bringing it up.
âGâonâ
Now or never. âWere you going to kiss me?â
He stayed silent. Just like that day, his eyes went everywhere but your eyes.
Fidgeting with his hands again, trying to figure out what he wanted to say.
âI thought âbout it.â He thought about it every minute he was with you; every minute he wasnât with you.
âWanted to.â Wanted it like nothing else.
âI ainât think it was the right thing to do.â
It was the right thing. He knows that.
âWhy?â Itâs all you could manage. You were so thankful to be sat, your knees felt weak and youâre half convinced your legs turned into literal jelly.
âKnew yaâd follow me. Couldnât have you out âere. Sânot safe, ainât wanna risk yer safety.â
âOh.â It was all you could manage. You should have said more, you *know* you should have.
And yet you couldnât bring yourself to.
âMakes sense. At least I know now.â You couldnât add anything further at this point.
You wanted the conversation about this over with.
You wanted him to kiss you now to make up for it. For him to come back with you. Despite you knowing it would never happen.
âŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤ
âPhew. Such a long journey for such a short toilet trip.â Carols way of announcing she was back - she had never left - broke you and Daryl out of what ever trance you were in.
âWhat did I miss?â
You stood up abruptly, losing your balance slightly as you did so. Darylâs hand made its way to your waist to steady you, just like it did the day he left.
âWe need to go. It was good to see you.â
You pulled away from him, grabbing your bag and chucking it over your shoulder.
Carol raises a brow at you before saying a short goodbye to Daryl and giving him a hug, telling him when sheâd roughly be back with more supplies.
You began to walk off, wanting nothing more than to get back to your own personal safe haven in Alexandria.
Also before you opened your mouth and blurted something out yet again.
âY/Nâ
Turning around, Daryl took a couple steps closer to you, pulling you in for a hug.
Head in the crook of your neck, you could have sworn he inhaled the scent of your hair, your skin; something.
âBe safe mâkay? Yâcan come whenever ya wanna.â
Your heart throbbed. You nodded at him, despite knowing the truth yourself; you wouldnât be back.
You both stepped back, maybe it was more on your part because you needed to escape this situation.
Carol walked ahead. You went to follow in pursuit.
âDaryl?â
âMhm?â
âBack then. If I had asked you to stay, would you have?â
âYânever asked. Guess we ainât ever gonna know.â
He knows.
He would have stayed.
Times like these he thinks he should have.
âŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤ

đ Notes:
Hello again!,
I just want to say, I'm so surprised that the first little drabble has reached about 100 people at this point, thank you to everyone reading and leaving a like <3
While I didn't think I'd be continuing the first part, I am very very happy to do so. I have a couple Ideas, so lets see how long this little slowburn is gonna take, but do feel free to give feedback, ideas or corrections :)
Thank you again, and I hope you have fun with this next part, and the newest little secret (Y/N) possibly has
Taglist!! <3: @finnbbl, @literallysza(tysm, ily)
The days following Minhoâs first meeting with (Y/N) wereâŚconfusing. For someone who prided himself on being the most self-assured person at KISS, Minho now found himself unsettled, distracted, and unusually tongue-tied.
He hated how much he found himself looking for excuses to hang out in Kittyâs dorm, pretending to help with her chaotic plans or offering to grab coffee with her, only to find himself scanning the room for (Y/N).
And then there was (Y/N) herself. If she noticed Minhoâs newfound awkwardness, she didnât let on. She greeted him the same way every timeâcalm, composed, and polite but never overly enthusiastic. It drove him crazy.
One rainy afternoon, Minho found himself at Kittyâs dorm again. It had become a ritual of sortsâKitty would ramble on about her latest love triangle (or square, depending on the day), and Minho would half-listen, his attention split between her words and the hope that (Y/N) would walk in.
ââŚand then she had the nerve to ask if I wanted to go shopping with her,â Kitty was saying, pacing the small living room.
Minho leaned back on the couch, pretending to listen. His attention kept drifting to the door.
âAnd youâre not even listening,â Kitty said, snapping her fingers in front of his face.
âWhat? No, I am,â Minho said quickly. âShopping with Yuri. Terrible idea. Definitely donât do it.â
Kitty sighed, flopping onto the armchair across from him. âYouâre the worst, you know that?â
Before Minho could respond, the door creaked open. (Y/N) stepped inside, balancing a tray of fresh cookies. She glanced at them, her lips curving into a small smile.
âKitty, I made a little something for you,â she said, setting the tray on the counter. Her gaze flickered to Minho briefly. âOh. Hi, Minho.â
Minho straightened up instinctively. âHey.â
Kitty raised an eyebrow, looking between the two of them. âCookies? Youâve been spoiling me lately, (Y/N).â
âItâs nothing,â (Y/N) said, putting a couple of them on a platter for Kitty and sliding it across the counter. âI wanted to take some time to bake something again anyway.â
Minho hesitated, then cleared his throat. âAny left over for me?â
(Y/N) glanced at him, her expression unreadable, before nodding. She prepared another plate and handed it to him. Their fingers brushed briefly as he took it, and Minho felt his stomach flip.
âThanks,â he muttered, taking a bite to hide his reaction.
As the rain pattered against the windows, the three of them settled into a strangely comfortable rhythm. Kitty alternated between brainstorming ideas and scrolling through her phone, while Minho and (Y/N) exchanged occasional remarks about the weather and school.
Minho found himself watching (Y/N) more than he intended. She sat cross-legged on the floor, her plate balanced precariously on the edge of the table. Her hair was slightly frizzy from the humidity, and she wore an oversized sweater that looked impossibly soft.
âSo,â (Y/N) said suddenly, looking at Minho. âWhatâs your role in Kittyâs master plan today?â
Minho blinked, caught off guard. âUh, Iâm theâŚidea guy?â
âReally?â (Y/N) said, raising an eyebrow. âBecause it seems like Kittyâs doing all the talking.â
Kitty snorted. âExactly. Heâs useless.â
âHey,â Minho protested, feigning offense. âIâm providing moral support.â
âMoral support doesnât count if youâre just sitting there looking pretty,â (Y/N) said, her tone light but teasing.
Minhoâs cheeks flushed at the unexpected complimentâor was it an insult? He couldnât tell.
âLooking pretty is a full-time job,â he shot back, recovering quickly.
(Y/N) smiled faintly, her eyes glinting with amusement. âMust be exhausting.â
Soon after, (Y/N) excused herself to work on her writing, leaving Minho and Kitty alone again.
âYouâre staring,â Kitty said, not looking up from her phone.
âWhat?â Minho said, snapping out of his thoughts.
âAt (Y/N),â Kitty clarified, smirking. âYouâve been staring at her all afternoon.â
âI have not,â Minho said, a little too quickly.
âRight,â Kitty said, drawing out the word. âYouâre so obvious, itâs painful.â
Minho groaned, running a hand through his hair. âIâm notâŚstaring. I just think sheâsââ
âGorgeous?â Kitty supplied.
Minho sighed. âFine. Yes. But itâs not like that.â
âSure it isnât,â Kitty said, her smirk widening.
The tea that was made to go along with the cookies was long gone, the rain still drumming softly against the windows, and Minho couldnât stop replaying the interaction in his head. Her wordsââMust be exhaustingââhad been light, teasing, but there was something about the way (Y/N) looked at him when she said it. Not dismissive, not disinterested. Amused, maybe even intrigued. Or was he imagining that?
âMinho,â Kittyâs voice cut through his thoughts, dragging him back to reality.
âHuh?â
Kitty rolled her eyes dramatically. âYouâre really bad at hiding it.â
âHiding what?â he said, attempting a casual shrug that probably looked as awkward as it felt.
âYou, staring at her like sheâs some mysterious treasure map youâre trying to figure out,â Kitty said, her smirk firmly in place.
âI donât stare,â Minho said defensively. âI glance. Occasionally, and don't mention it again, we just talked about that 20 minutes ago!â
Kitty let out a laugh, shaking her head. âYouâre in trouble, I'm just trying to get that into your headâ
âIâm not,â Minho insisted, though the heat rising in his cheeks told a different story. âI just think sheâsâŚinteresting.â
âOh, she is,â Kitty agreed. âBut donât think youâre going to win her over by just sitting here and looking pretty.â
âI donâtââ Minho started, but Kitty cut him off.
âPlease. I know you. You think a few charming smiles and a well-timed compliment are all it takes.â
Minho scowled, but he couldnât exactly argue. That had worked for him in the past. âAnd what, oh wise Kitty, do you suggest I do?â
Kitty tilted her head, considering. âMaybe try talking to her. Actually talking. Ask her about her life, her interestsâbe genuine for once.â
Minho opened his mouth to respond, but before he could, the door to (Y/N)âs room creaked open. She stepped out, clutching her laptop and a notebook, her hair pulled into a clip-up hairstyle.
âIâm heading to the library,â (Y/N) said, glancing between them.
âIn this weather?â Kitty asked, raising an eyebrow.
âItâs quieter when itâs raining,â (Y/N) said with a small shrug.
"Besides, I want to meet up with a guy that needs tutoring, he's hopeless"
"Just some guy, huh?" Minho pauses for a second, watching her every move.
"A random guy that you're bringing some of your cookies?"
(Y/N turns around, facing him with a judging look: "If you really think about it, you're also 'Just a Guy' at the moment"
Minho's brows furrow, and you could almost hear Kitty's low wince in reaction to her statement
âIâll walk with you,â Minho said, standing before he even realized what he was doing.
(Y/N) blinked, clearly surprised. âYou donât have to.â
âI want to,â Minho said, his tone a little too eager. He quickly added, âI mean, Iâve been cooped up here for hours. I could use some air.â
Kitty barely stifled a laugh, but (Y/N) simply nodded. âAlright, if youâre sure.â
Minho grabbed his jacket, ignoring Kittyâs smug expression as he followed (Y/N) out the door.
The rain had softened into a light drizzle by the time they stepped outside. (Y/N) pulled her hood up, clutching her laptop bag close as they walked.
âSo,â Minho began, struggling to find a topic. âThe library, huh? Big plans?â
âI just need some quiet to work,â (Y/N) said, glancing at him briefly.
âOn what?â he asked, genuinely curious.
She hesitated for a moment before answering. âI write sometimes. Nothing major.â
âLike essays?â Minho guessed.
âNot exactly,â she said, her lips twitching into a faint smile. âMore likeâŚthoughts. Stories. Poetry, sometimes.â
Minho raised an eyebrow, genuinely impressed. âWow. I didnât know that.â
âWell, now you do,â (Y/N) said lightly.
They walked in silence for a moment, the rain-soaked campus unusually quiet around them. Minho found himself stealing glances at her, trying to piece together the puzzle of who she was.
âWhat about you?â (Y/N) asked suddenly, catching him off guard. âWhat do you do when youâre not hanging out with Kitty or obsessing over your wardrobe?â
âI donât obsess over clothes, or only hang out with Kittyâ Minho said defensively.
(Y/N) gave him a knowing look: "You cant deny the fashion thing, and you do hang out with Kitty a lot at the moment, you seem to be attached at the hip"
âOkay, maybe a little, but not the Kitty thing! She's nice don't get me wrong, but..â he admitted, stopping his rant when he saw (Y/N)'s expression
âBut I do other things. LikeâŚuhâŚâ He faltered, realizing he didnât have a good answer. âIâm pretty into music,â he said finally. âI play piano.â
(Y/N)âs eyebrows lifted slightly. âReally? I wouldnât have guessed that.â
âWhy not?â
âI donât know,â she said, her tone teasing. âYou donât exactly give off âclassical music prodigyâ vibes.â
âFirst of all, Iâm not a prodigy,â Minho said. âAnd second, Iâm full of surprises.â
âIâll take your word for it,â (Y/N) said, her faint smile returning.
They reached the library steps, and (Y/N) paused, turning to face him.
âThanks for walking with me,â she said.
âAnytime,â Minho said, and for once, he meant it.
(Y/N) hesitated, like she wanted to say something else, but instead, deciding for an alternative.
"Minho?"
"Yes?"
"If you ever get lonely when Kitty's out causing chaos, feel free to stop by anyway, alright?"
Minho and her shared a smile before she nodded and disappeared through the library doors.
Minho stood there for a moment, watching the door close behind her. He stuffed his hands into his pockets, replaying their conversation in his head. It wasnât much, but it felt like progress.
By the time he got back to the dorm, Kitty was waiting for him, sprawled out on the couch with a knowing grin.
âWell?â she asked.
âWell, what?â
Kitty rolled her eyes. âHowâd it go? Did you manage to form a complete sentence?â
âVery funny,â Minho said, kicking off his shoes. âWe talked.â
âAnd?â
âAndâŚsheâs interesting,â Minho admitted, flopping onto the couch.
She gave him an expecting look, leaning forward towards him
He have her a judgy up-and-down look before asking: "What?"
Kitty groaned and shook her head.
"And? There was something else I know it"
Minho's lips twitched into something resembling a smile before gaining back his facial control
"Well...", he hesitated for a second, "She did indirectly invite me to hang out?"
Kittyâs grin widened. âYouâre so doomed.â
That night, as Minho sat at his desk, he found himself scrolling through his phone, staring at the submission screen for the anonymous blog everyone at KISS loved. He didnât know why he was considering it, but something about (Y/N)âs quiet confidence had gotten under his skin.
Without overthinking, he typed out a message:
âHow do you get to know someone whoâs completely different from anyone youâve ever met? Someone who makes you feel like youâre not as put together as you think you are?â
He hesitated before hitting send, then shook his head and closed the app. It wasnât like she would ever see it.
Or so he thought.

not proof read.

part one
nanami still couldnât help but think about the video of you and his wife. he was so fixated on that the whole night. when his wife would even kiss him, he would get a hard on just thinking about it.
he did want to make a suggestion to his wife, asking if they can up their sex life but he was nervous. what if she said no? he just didnât want to get caught up but unfortunately he did.
you sat on ur bed, on the computer scrolling away until u saw a video on ur camera roll that you had no idea of. nanami accidentally press record on himself when he was scrolling through your post.
you pressed the video to see nanami jerking himself off. your eyes grew big. no wonder why he was acting so weird yesterday. you texted your best friend asking her to come to your room.
you began pacing back and forth in front of your bed, not knowing what to say to her. you didnât want to be there when she yells at him but you also didnât want to be the easy they broke up. before you could even text her back saying never mindâ she was already at your door.
"whatâs up?"
"uhâ"
"you okay?"
"sit please." you watched as she sat on the edge of your bed. "youâre scarring me." you took a deep breath. "okay so basically, y'know how nanami was being oddly weird last night?"
"mhm."
"well i think i know why. basically, i was on my lab top, i was going to post our video we did last week. i saw this video that i donât remember so i pressed on itâŚ" a small pause. your best friend looking at you to continue.
"it was nanamiâ and well, he was masturbating. he kept saying your name and mine. iâm positive he saw our video." you were scared for her reaction but it wasnât what you thought it would be.
"oh wow. definitely not surprised but like i did cheat on him just didnât think he would find out that wayâ"
"youâre not upset?"
"i canât be y/n. i did cheat on him. what can i say?"
"i mean true but i donât know!"
"if we are being honest, i was going to discuss with him about being a poly but i just didnât know how to ask him."
to be fair, you were in love with your best friend and you had started to like nanami but you never thought about a poly.
"i love you y/n and i know nanami feels the same way. i see the way he stares at you or wonders if youâre with someone. i wonder the same as well." you were shocked honestly. but you were praying on the inside that nanami agreed to it. "come on, we'll tell him together." now your heart went to your ass.
"nanami, baby." you can hear nanami hum. "so, did anything yesterday when we were gone?" your eyes looked away from his eyes. "no. why?"
"you sure?"
"i mean i cleaned but thatâs about it." liar.
"babe be honest with me." you can tell he was nervous. he didnât know to lie or say the truth. "fine. please donât get mad. but â i was being nosy and went into y/n's room and i kept hearing notifications. i know it was wrong but then i saw only fans and just wanted to know how much you make and i got more curious and saw you too and i got off on that. please donât be mad."
you wanted to laugh but you knew this situation was serious. "itâs okay honey, i canât be mad. i do apologize for not telling you about it either."
"iâm sorry y/n for sneaking in your room."
"itâs okay." you chuckled causing nanami to turn red. "speaking of which, i have something to ask."
"hm?"
"i know you feel something towards y/n andâ"
"oh god, im so-"
"nanami relax. i was going to say i do too, and i wanted to know if youâre willing to be in a relationship with her as well."
"what is it called? a poly?"
"mhm."
"wow. i mean two women at once?"
nanami smiled big. "well yeah."
"this is heaven."
"we also have a surprise for you."
"for me?!" your best friend grabbed nanamis hand and yours leading to the master bedroom. you were confused too. she never said anything else. "since we are doing this, iâve been waiting to try so bad." she smiled taking her clothes off. nanami smiling knowing his dreams were coming true.
"i wanna see you guys touch each other first." so quick for nanami to request what he wanted but yall werenât complaining though. "like this?" you began grabbing your best friends breast. nanami sitting in the corner of the chair. nodding in agreement as he took off his clothes.
you and your best friend breathing getting heavier. "finger her." you nodded, your fingers rubbing against her pussy. she moaned from the feeling. "sheâs wet for you." you bit your bottom lip looking at nanami while placing your fingers in your mouth.
nanami pumping himself seeing you eat his wife out. this is what he wanted and he finally got it. "when i fuck her, i want you looking at me." he pointed as he slapped your ass. he rubbed his tip against your entrance. "oh fuck." your best friend moaned out loud. "donât look at her, look at me."
nanami gave it no time, he thrusted in you causing you to moan. "donât stop." she whispered. nanami grabbing your hips, thrusting back and forth. you began tweaking on his dick. nanami moaning seeing your ass shaking perfectly. his wife also humping your face. "just like that baby." he whispered.
"oh god." you whispered as nanami kept going faster. "nanami lay on your back." his wife demanded. "sit on his face y/n." you positioned yourself to sit on his face. nanami's tongue did circular motion on your clit causing you to moan. "ride his fucking face." his wife kissed your lips. his wife goes down and began sucking his dick.
nanami moaned feeling his wife take all of it. "nanami-" you moaned. he gripped on your thighs when he felt you ride him. the room was filled with sweat, moans, and screams.
you faced the other way, while his wife began to ride his dick. nanami still eating you out while you were making out with his wife. "fuck guys-" your best friend whispered as she sucked on your breast. "please donât fucking stop."
"yeah baby, eat her fucking pussy." this man was in fucking heaven. his has his wife riding him and his now girlfriend sitting on his face? yeah this man was loving it. "iâm gonna fucâ"
"me tooâ" all of you guys keeping up the same place. you came in nanamis mouth. "lick my cum off her pussy." nanami demanding as he felt himself shooting inside her. you bent down and licked your best friend clit while still on nanami. she lifted up a bit and smiled seeing you lick off both of them.
"was this what you wanted nanami?"
"mhm."

ŕ¨ŕ§âdecided to make cute little moments of how Eurymachus and reader interacted when they were younger
ŕ¨ŕ§âCAME FROM APHRODITES GAMBLE SERIESâźď¸â ď¸âźď¸
ââââŕ¨ŕ§ââââ ââââŕ¨ŕ§ââââ âââ
Antinous adjusted the clasp on his cloak and knelt in front of Y/N, who stood stiffly, her wide eyes darting nervously at the bustling palace around them. She clutched the hem of his tunic like it was a lifeline. âY/N,â Antinous said gently, prying her small hands off his clothes. âI need to leave for a little while. Just to speak with someone about our place here.â
Her grip tightened momentarily before she reluctantly let go. âHow long?â she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
âNot long,â he assured her, though his eyes flicked with uncertainty. âYouâll be fine. Eurymachus will look after you while Iâm gone.â
At the mention of Eurymachus, she glanced at the tall, lanky man leaning against a pillar nearby. He gave her a lazy wave and a smirk, which only made her retreat closer to Antinous.
Antinous sighed, brushing her dark hair back from her face. âHeâs fine, N/N. Heâs my right hand man. If you trust me, you can trust him. Alright?â
She hesitated, biting her lip, but eventually nodded. âOkayâŚâ
Antinous stood and gestured for Eurymachus to come over. âSheâs in your care,â he said firmly. âDonât let her out of your sight.â
âYeah, yeah,â Eurymachus replied dismissively, waving Antinous off. âGo do your thing. Sheâs safe with me.â
Antinous shot one last reassuring look at her before walking away, disappearing into the crowd of suitors and servants.
She stood frozen, her hands clenched at her sides, as Eurymachus turned to her. He crouched slightly, meeting her nervous gaze. âSo⌠uh⌠kid,â he started awkwardly. âWhat do you⌠do for fun? Dolls? Rocks? Stare at walls?â
She blinked up at him, unsure how to respond. âI⌠I donât knowâŚâ
Eurymachus scratched the back of his neck. âRight. Cool. This is going great.â He straightened up, looking around as if searching for something to entertain her. âOkay, how about⌠oh! I know.â He pulled a flask from his belt and held it out to her. âYou want some? Itâs wine.â
Her eyes widened in horror. âI⌠I donât think Iâm supposed to drink that.â
Eurymachus raised a brow. âWhy not? Youâre scared of everyone here, right? Thisâll help. Loosen you up.â
She shook her head rapidly, taking a step back. âA-Antinous says Iâm still a kid!â
Eurymachus paused, blinking at her like heâd just realized her age. âKid, huh? Right⌠kids canât drink.â He tucked the flask away, muttering, âAntinous didnât mention Iâd be babysitting.â
She stared at him, still nervous but now slightly offended. âIâm not a baby.â
âCouldâve fooled me,â Eurymachus said with a shrug. âYou look like youâre about to pass out from fear.â
âIâm not scared!â she protested, though her trembling hands betrayed her.
Eurymachus sighed, rubbing his temples. âAlright, alright, fine. No wine. Want some bread or something? Thatâs a kid thing, right? Bread?â
She gave him a suspicious look but eventually nodded. âI like breadâŚâ
âGreat,â he said, gesturing for her to follow him. âLetâs go find some bread and not tell your brother I almost gave you wine.â
As they walked off, she kept a wary distance, still unsure about this strange man Antinous trusted. Eurymachus, meanwhile, was silently praying Antinous would come back soonâbecause babysitting was definitely not his area of expertise.
ââ
Y/N was sitting on a stone bench in the palace gardens, her legs swinging idly as she tried to focus on tying flowers into a chain. The day had been quiet, with Antinous off training and Eurymachus taskedâagainâwith keeping an eye on her. However, âkeeping an eyeâ for Eurymachus typically meant finding ways to entertain himself, and today, that entertainment was his unsuspecting charge.
From behind a nearby hedge, Eurymachus crouched low, a mischievous grin on his face. He had been watching her hum softly to herself, completely unaware of his presence. Slowly, he picked up a dry twig and snapped it, the sharp crack echoing through the quiet garden.
She froze, her hands clutching the unfinished flower chain. âH-Hello?â she called out, her small voice trembling slightly.
Eurymachus smirked. Perfect. âHelloâŚâ he drawled in a low, ghostly voice, staying hidden.
Her eyes darted around, her expression growing nervous. âWhoâs there?â
Instead of answering, Eurymachus rustled the bushes dramatically, adding to the illusion of something lurking nearby.
âAntinous?â She whispered, her voice shaking now. She stood up, clutching the flowers like a shield. âIs that you? Eurymachus?â
Eurymachus waited until she turned her back toward him before suddenly jumping out with a loud âBOO!â
She screamed, stumbling back and dropping her flower chain. Her eyes were wide with terror as she stared at Eurymachus, who doubled over with laughter.
âThat was priceless!â he managed to say between chuckles. âYou shouldâve seen your face! Absolutely legendary!â
But instead of laughing or yelling at him, her lips quivered, and big tears welled up in her eyes.
âY-Youâre mean!â she cried, her voice breaking as she buried her face in her hands.
Eurymachus immediately froze, his laughter dying in his throat. âWaitâwait, no, donât cry!â he said, panic creeping into his tone. âIt was just a joke! Come on, N/N, it wasnât that scary!â
Pandora sniffled, wiping her face as the tears kept falling. âI-I thought it was a monster! A-And youâre laughing at me!â
Eurymachus groaned, running a hand through his hair. âOkay, okay, I messed up. My bad. Iâm sorry, alright?â He crouched down in front of her, his hands awkwardly hovering as if he wanted to comfort her but didnât know how. She didnât respond, still sniffling.
âLook, Iâll make it up to you,â he said quickly, his tone desperate. âYou want some cake? Weâll go get cake. You want me to carry you to Antinous? Iâll do that too. Just⌠stop crying, alright?â
She peeked at him through her fingers, her tear-streaked face still full of betrayal. âYouâre meanâŚâ
âI know, I know,â Eurymachus said, sighing. âBut Iâm your brotherâs idiot best friend, so youâre stuck with me. Can we call a truce?â He hesitated, then added, âAnd⌠I wonât scare you again. Promise.â
She sniffled one last time, crossing her arms. âCake first.â
Eurymachus chuckled, relieved. âCake it is. But donât tell Antinous about this, alright? Heâll kill me.â
She glared at him but nodded, taking his hand as they walked toward the kitchens. Despite her tears, she silently vowed to get her revenge someday.
ââ-
Y/N was sitting cross-legged on the marble floor of the palace hallway, humming a little tune as she carefully arranged her dolls. She was lost in her own world, making one dollâa âqueenââorder the others to prepare for a royal feast. Eurymachus strolled by, his usual swagger in place, when he noticed her. A mischievous grin spread across his face. âWhatâre you doing, little princess? Having a tea party?â
She looked up at him and stuck out her tongue. âGo away, Eurymachus. Youâre too dumb to understand.â
Eurymachus raised an eyebrow, mock-offended. âDumb, huh? Let me see one of these royal subjects of yours.â Before y/n could react, he snatched the queen doll from her hands and held it high above her head.
âHey! Give her back!â She squealed, jumping up and reaching for the doll, but Eurymachus, being much taller, kept it well out of her grasp.
âWhatâs the big deal?â Eurymachus teased, twirling the doll by its arm. âLooks like sheâs had better days anyway.â
âDonât hurt her!â She shouted, her voice edging on panic.
Eurymachus, still smirking, pretended to inspect the doll. âRelax, kid. Sheâs just aââ He fumbled, and the doll slipped from his hand, hitting the floor with a loud crack. Her eyes went wide as she dropped to her knees, cradling the broken doll. Her lips trembled, and then, with a loud wail, she bolted down the hall, tears streaming down her face.
âANTINOUS!â she sobbed, her voice echoing through the palace.
Moments later, Antinous appeared, storming toward her like an avenging storm. He knelt beside his sister, taking one look at the broken doll in her hands and her tear streaked face. âWho did this?â he asked, his voice low and dangerous.
She pointed back down the hallway. âEurymachus! He broke her on purpose!â
Antinous stood, his face a mask of fury. âStay here,â he commanded before striding off.
Eurymachus was still chuckling to himself when Antinous found him. Before he could utter a word, Antinous grabbed him by the collar and slammed him against the wall.
âWhat theâ? Antinous, whatâs yourââ Eurymachusâs protest was cut off by a sharp punch to the gut.
âYou broke her doll, you idiot!â Antinous growled, landing another blow. âSheâs a kid! What is wrong with you?â
âAlright, alright! I didnât mean toââ Eurymachus tried to explain, but Antinous wasnât having it. He landed another punch before shoving Eurymachus to the floor.
âYou ever upset her like that again,â Antinous snarled, âand Iâll make sure youâre the broken one.â With that, Antinous stormed back to his sister, leaving Eurymachus groaning on the floor.
She looked up at her brother with wide, teary eyes. âDid you get him?â
Antinous knelt beside her, gently wiping her tears away. âDonât worry, N/N. I handled it. Nobody messes with my little sister.â
She sniffled but managed a small smile. âThanks, Antinous.â
He smiled back, ruffling her hair. âCome on, letâs get you a new doll.â
ââ
Y/N sprinted through the palace halls, her small frame trembling with sobs. Tears streamed down her face as she burst into Eurymachusâs room without knocking. He was lounging on a chair, lazily polishing a dagger, but he immediately sat up when he saw her crying. âY/N? Whatâs wrong?â Eurymachus asked, a rare note of concern in his voice.
She threw herself into his arms, clutching his tunic. âTelemachus saidâhe said when his father, Odysseus, comes back, heâll kill Antinous and all the suitors! He canât kill my brother, Eurymachus! I donât want him to die!â
Eurymachus blinked, his usual smirk replaced by a furrowed brow. He awkwardly patted her back, unsure of how to comfort her. âHey, hey, calm down, kid. No oneâs killing Antinous, alright? That little bratâs just running his mouth.â
She sniffled, looking up at him with tear-streaked cheeks. âYou promise?â
Eurymachus sighed and stood, setting her down gently. âIâll take care of this, alright? You stay here.â
Without waiting for a reply, he stormed out of the room, muttering curses under his breath. It didnât take long to find Telemachus, who was in the courtyard practicing with a wooden sword. Eurymachus marched up to him, his usual swagger replaced by irritation. âHey, prince,â Eurymachus called out, his tone sharp. âWhatâs this I hear about you telling Y/N that Odysseus is gonna kill us all? Scaring a little girl? Real manly of you.â
Telemachus lowered his sword and turned to face Eurymachus, his face a mix of defiance and annoyance. âI just told her the truth. If my father comes back, he will deal with all of you. Itâs not my fault she canât handle it.â
Eurymachus glared, stepping closer. âListen here, you little snot. You keep your mouth shut about that kind of thing, especially around her. You think this is a game? Sheâs scared out of her mind!â
Telemachus rolled his eyes and smirked. âMaybe if you suitors werenât plotting to steal my motherâs hand, this wouldnât be an issue.â
Eurymachus opened his mouth to retort, but before he could say anything, Telemachus swung his foot up and kicked him square in the shin. Eurymachus yelped, stumbling back and clutching his leg.
âYou littleâ!â Eurymachus growled, hopping on one foot.
Telemachus smirked smugly. âMaybe next time, think twice before coming at me.â
As Telemachus walked off, Eurymachus muttered a string of curses under his breath, rubbing his shin. He limped back to his room, where Y/N was still waiting, nervously fidgeting with her hands.
âWhat happened?â she asked, her voice small.
Eurymachus slumped into his chair, waving her off. âNothing. Just had a chat with the prince. Letâs just say heâs lucky I didnât strangle him.â
She tilted her head, frowning. âDid you fix it?â
Eurymachus sighed, giving her a tired smile. âYeah, kid. Donât worry about it. Antinous isnât going anywhere, okay?â
She nodded, her tears finally drying up as she gave him a small, hopeful smile. âThanks, Eurymachus.â
He grunted, leaning back in his chair. âYeah, yeah. Just donât make this a habit, alright?â

Satellite Call. Part I: What You Kept Hiden from Me (Spencer Reid x Fem!BAU!Reader)
------------------Â
Author Masterlist | Series Masterlist
------------------
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Fem!Reader.
Words count for this part: 3.2k
Series summary: Your world crushes when Spencer is arrested. Between finding a way to get him out and keeping you afloat, there is something else you need to focus on, too. And even when you thought things couldnât go worse, a tragedy makes you question if you can make it through.
Part I summary: One of Spencer's trips to Mexico ends badly, and you don't know how to react and what to do.
Series warnings: ANGST (with CAPS). 18+ (MDNI). Some heavy topics will be discussed and shown here. Prison arc, but mostly from Reader's perspective and Emilyâs. More detailed under the cut.
Spencer lies to his wife. Drug consumption (against their will). Pregnancy symptoms. Spencer is in jail for more than three months. Hospital visits, doctorâs info dumping (not accurate). Alcohol consumption. Arguing. Strong language. A lot of crying. Emotional breakdowns. A car crash happens (as in the CM storyline). Character dies. More hospital things. Miscarriage. More angst. Depressing symptoms. Mourning. Self-doubt. Suicidal ideation, and almost consummated. Emily is everyoneâs emotional support.
---------------
Spencer thought you would be outside the correctional, just as Penelope is now, waiting for him. But you are not. He either didn't ask JJ why you weren't with her picking him up from inside in the first place. Spencer just assumed you didn't want to be in there, and he understood your reasons. You stopped visiting him because it was hard to see him locked up like that and not do anything about it. Or at least it was what you said to him in a letter Emily handed him during a visit time when you didn't show up. It was a month ago.
After a tight hug with Penelope, Spencer couldn't help but ask.
"Where is she?"
JJ, Luke, and Garcia exchange a troubled look, something Spencer sure does notice. When he sees Garcia's glassy eyes, his gaze settles on JJ and Luke for answers.
"Spence, sheâ" JJ doesn't know how to express a fact she knows will break her friend.
"Man, she - we should go to the hospital right now." Luke chooses to point out what to do instead of why.
"What?! Why? What happened?!" A frantic Spencer starts to question. What the hell had happened to you? Why are you in a hospital? There are too many questions in his brain right now.
With a hand on his shoulder, Luke gently propels him to start walking to the car.
"We are going to tell you everything, I swear. But let's go to the car, okay?" This time, it's JJ's turn to speak, trying to make Spencer move.
Spencer hasn't felt so confused and afraid even in the four months of being locked up in jail.
---------------
Five months ago
Exhausted. It's the definition of how you feel after the draining case you just ended in Tampa. The jet is quiet enough to assume everyone is sleeping. But although the evident tiredness consumes your body and brain, you can't bring yourself to sleep. Instead, you look at your front, where your husband is reading a book. His eyes look heavy, but you know he can't sleep either, not before decompressing first. And for that, a good book tends to work most of the time.
It's amazing how you can love someone so much. After two years of marriage and a couple of years as coworkers and friends before that, it isn't easy to think of Spencer as anything less than your soulmate and the love of your life.
You are lost in your thoughts, and you don't notice Spencer's eyes on you, a lazy smile on his face.
"Where did that pretty little head go?"
You don't know if the blush on your cheeks is from being caught or from Spencer's loving tone. Maybe both.
"Nowhere in particular. Just wondering."
"Yeah?"
"Mm-mm."
"Care to share?" Spencer asks with curious eyes.
"Well," you start, smiling at him. "Since you brought it up and knowing we have two days off, what about a getaway out of the city, huh?"
It's not a sudden idea. You and Spencer have been thinking about doing something like that for a few weeks. After a chaotic couple of months at the BAU, you both need time for yourself.
Spencer's eyes softenedâa little pout on his lips.
"Sweetheart, I'm sorry, but I promised my mom's doctor I would be in Houston tomorrow."
You don't remember Spencer telling you that. Could it be that you had forgotten?
"Oh. I didn't know. Something happened to Diana?"
Spencer shakes his head.
"No. Just the usual. The doctors are adjusting the treatment, and we're doing a follow-up, that's all."
Another source of stress for Spencer in the past months has been Diana's health. After an important decline, he got her mom into an experimental treatment in Houston. Spencer fought hard to get her admitted, and even if you weren't sure about it, you supported him in everything related to it. That's why you won't even protest losing another chance to spend time together.
"I'm sorry," Spencer apologizes when he sees you haven't said anything. Reaching for your hand, you hold it and squeeze it reassuringly.
"It's okay, Spence. You must be there. And maybe it's a good chance for me to have a long beauty sleep," you shrug. In all honesty, your body has been yelling for uninterrupted sleeping hours in the past weeks.
"I promise we'll make up for the lost time when I come back, okay?" Spencer offers, kissing your hand. You nod and give him a soothing smile.
Some weeks later, the loud ringing of your phone wakes you from your sleep. Not fully conscious of your surroundings, you pat to the right side of the bed, expecting to feel Spencer next to you, but it's empty. Then you remember you are alone because Spencer had to go to Houston again this week.
"Hello?"
"Did I wake you up?" A confused Emily asks at the other end of the call. You check your bedside clock, and it reads 11 AM. You have been sleeping for twelve hours now.
"Yeah," you rub your tired eyes. I think I caught something. My stomach feels funny, and I was so exhausted last night. What is it? Do we have a case?"
"No, but- Have you heard from Spencer?" Emily asks cautiously.
"He called last night and told me he would come back today." There is a tense silence between you both. "Emily, what's wrong?" you ask.
"You should come to the BAU." It's all she says, and you know something bad happened.
Everything has been a blur since Emily's call and your arrival at the BAU.
As you bolt into your boss's office, you see her, David, and Penelope there, a troubled expression on their faces.
Emily is who delivers the news. Spencer has been arrested in Mexico after a car chase and caught with drugs in the trunk.
It's like she is telling you a movie plot. There is no chance she is talking about Spencer, your husband. No, it can't be. Your husband left two days ago for Houston to check on his mom, as he has been doing in the past month.
But as much as you want to deny what you are hearing, Spencer's mugshot, appearing on Garcia's screen, is screaming the truth.
You think you might throw up. And you do. Quickly excusing yourself, you run to the nearest bathroom to empty your stomach.
It's the same Emily Prentiss who enters the bathroom after you and holds your hair as you keep kneeling before the toilet.
"We are going to bring him back. I swear. Everything is going to be okay," Emily assures you, rubbing your back.
You want to believe her, but not knowing why this is happening makes it hard to think clearly.
You insist on going to Matamoros with Luke and Rossi, and no one dares to protest. You're visibly upset and confused, but staying in Quantico is not an option.
On the plane, Emily sits in front of you. You know why.
"I swear I didn't know anything, Em. I'm as confused as everyone," you confess. "And it's killing me. I know Spencer never would do what they say he did, but either I can explain why he was there."
"I know, but you must have caught something. Has Spencer seemed nervous or extremely quiet lately? Maybe a phone call or something that made him change his mood."
You think for a moment. Spencer has indeed been more pensive in recent weeks, particularly since Diana joined the new treatment. It's also true he's told you less and less about how things are going with her. But you assume it's because he's been worried about everything going well and not because something bad was happening.
A memory suddenly appears in your mind. One night after arriving from the BAU, you were making something to eat, and Spencer left his phone on the counter while he took a shower. You looked at the device, thinking it might be from work, but the name 'Dr. Medina' appeared on the screen. You didn't recognize the name because, according to what Spencer had told you, her mom's new doctor was Dr. Hammond.
"After he checked his phone, he quickly called back, but he went to the bedroom to make the call. I didn't pay enough attention. I should have doneâ" You trail off, and Emily rubs your arm to comfort you.
"Hey, don't. We don't know if that has to do with what's going on, so let's not get ahead of ourselves."
It's easy to say but almost impossible to achieve, especially when, upon arriving at the Matamoros police station, in one of the cells, you see your husband lying on a bench with his eyes lost in the ceiling.
"Spencer?" you mumble, but loud enough to catch Spencer's attention. He sits and looks at you with eyebrows furrowed as if trying to remember who you are. Some feet behind you, Emily, Luke, and Rossi stand, witnessing your interaction.
Without saying anything, Spencer gets up and walks over to where you are, only separated by his cell bars. With that closeness, you can see the several cuts all over your husband's face; his clothes are torn. But what shocks you are Spencer's red and lost eyes. He is visibly high.
"Do you know who I am?" you ask almost in a whisper, scared of his answer. Spencer nods slowly, his eyes shifting from lost to sad. He recognizes you.
"I'm sorry." It's not much, but you can't hold it against him right now, not when answers are required in the first place.
"Baby, it's okay. We're going to get you out of here, okay? But you need to talk to us. Can you do that?"
It's not until a couple of hours later Spencer fully returns to himself, the effects of the drugs leaving his body.
For the sake of the case, you stay out of it while Spencer tells the team what happened. You donât want Spencer to feel uncomfortable admitting he has lied to you for weeks.
After Emily conducts a cognitive interview to get details that could help, Spencer returns to his cell. When Emily, Luke, and Rossi leave the police station to search for evidence, only you are left there with him.
Spencer looks embarrassed, and you can feel the gears in his head turning as he tries to find a way to talk to you. When he comes empty of words, he addresses you instead.
"Can you please say something?" His voice is tentative and pained.
"I don't know what you want me to say," you reply honestly.
Spencer sighs deeply. "Tell me whatever you're thinking now. Yell at me, tell me I'm a fucking liar, that I dragged you into this mess, tell me I'm a terrible husband."
You consider his words for a moment. Is it true everything Spencer says is what you're thinking? It probably is, but you don't feel like you have the energy to bring it out the way he wants. However, there is one underlying question that has been on your mind since all this started.
"Why? Why you kept it from me? You don't trust me enough to tell me those things?"
"No, don't say that. I do trust you," Spencer rushes to say, but he knows it's a weak defense considering the circumstances.
"Then I don't get it. Why, Spencer?" Your tone isn't accusatory but sad. You could have helped him if you had known. But he, for some reason, decided against it.
"I was trying to protect you," he says and shakes his head. "I know it sounds stupid now we are here, but it's true. I didn't want you to worry about my mom's situation. I'm so sorry."
Spencer is probably telling the truth, but it doesn't make you feel better. Not seeing him behind bars like this.
The helplessness of not having anticipated this situation and now being unable to do anything to solve it eats you up inside. Despite that, you know Spencer is having it worse. So you, as his partner and who loves him the way you never loved anyone, decide to put your feelings aside to be his support at this difficult moment.
"It's okay," you assure him, placing your hands between the bars to hold his. Spencer is quick to respond and grabs onto your hands as if you were a lifeline to him. "We'll figure it out."
Spencer's eyes fill with tears as he repeatedly murmurs, 'Thank you' and 'I love you.'
You have always considered yourself a strong and tenacious woman. Since you were a kid, you have been independent and able to overcome everything that came your way. But adult life has continued to test you, and this has been no exception. When you find out Nadie Ramos has been murdered and all the evidence points to Spencer, you're about to break down. Still, you can't because if you do, who's going to support your husband? You have to be strong. Some reprieve emerges when you learn Ramos is an American citizen and Spencer can be prosecuted on American soil.
Baby steps.
The jet is mostly silent, save for Emily's occasional page-turning or Luke's typing on his phone. Rossi seems to be sleeping. You and Spencer are in one of the back seats. Spencer's head is in your lap while you absentmindedly play with his hair, looking at the night sky out the window.
"You think Scratch is behind this?" Spencer asks, pulling you out of your thoughts. You consider your answer for a couple of seconds.
"I do. I mean, it's such a damn elaborate plan. I can't think of anyone but Scratch."
Spencer assumes a sitting position and examines your face. He knows you are upset. Cupping your cheeks, he looks directly at your eyes.
"I have no words to say how sorry I am. And I promise to make it up to you for the rest of my life when this is over."
You close your eyes and take a deep breath. When you open them again, you are met with Spencer's expecting gaze.
"I know you will." And you really think that. "I love you, Spencer. I'm sure we are going to get through this." Your voice trembles with emotion, but your words seal a promise you mean to keep.
"And I love you. So so much. God, I'm so lucky to have you." Spencer's arms envelope you in a tight embrace. You melt into him, breathing his scent. It's the way you usually use to ground yourself. It's hard right now because, once the jet lands in Virginia, Spencer will get snatched from you, for God knows how much time it will take.
When the BAU elevator doors open, you find JJ, Penelope, and Tara waiting for you all. Spencer has his cuffed hands covered with your FBI jacket so as not to attract too much attention. Garcia is the first to rush forward and hug him.
You only have fifteen minutes. Then, the police officers will take him to the station to book him and leave him in a cell.
JJ and Tara hug him, too. You assume they are giving him reassuring words, something you know he needs right now. From your peripheral, you see Emily exchange glances with Stephen and retreating to Emily's office. You can't say what's going on, but curiosity gets the best of you, and you follow them. You know Tara, Penelope, and JJ will keep Spencer occupied for a couple more minutes.
"What? Is the bureau abandoning him?" You hear Emily ask, visibly upset.
"They said Reid traveled with his personal passport and didn't inform the office. That's enough for them to step aside," Stephen explains.
"So we don't have legal support," Emily confirms, and Stephen nods.
You can't help but interrupt the conversation.
"What? Spencer will not have a defense?" Both Emily and Stephen startle and turn to see you. While Stephen gives you an apologetic look, Emily is quick to speak.
"Not provided by the FBI, but it doesn't mean Spencer will be alone in this. We'll find a lawyer for him."
"They do want to bury this, don't they? It's bad publicity, and Spencer will fall for it," you start to complain, your breathing picking up speed.
"Hey! We won't let that happen, do you hear me?" your boss steadies you and makes you look at her with both hands on your shoulders. "But for now, Spencer can't know. Not until we get this figured out."
As in cue, you look through Emily's window and see Spencer still chatting with JJ and Penelope.
"This is a nightmare," you mumble. Emily squeezes your shoulder.
"We're going to solve it, I promise."
You see Spencer looking around with a frown. Penelope and JJ are still talking to him, but Spencer seems to be looking for something, better said, someone: you. Cautiously, you descend the stairs to join him. You know you donât have much time, and you know you canât tell him about the lack of a lawyer.
âHey,â Spencer calls when he finally sees you.
âSorry, I went to talk to Emily about something real quick while giving you time with the team.â You donât want to delve into specifics and hope Spencer doesn't ask about it.
âThank you. Can we talk more privately?â
âSure.â You both move to a corner with fewer people around. Spencerâs eyes trail every part of your face as he wants to engrave you in his memory. At the lack of words, you frown. âSpencer?â
âI know this isnât going to be easy. Iâm terrified, and not just for me. Iâm scared about how this will affect you and us. I just want to say that I love you with all my heart, but I will understand if this becomes too much. You don't owe me anything. Donât feel obligated-â
âStop! Stop right there. Donât even try to finish that sentence,â you rush to cut him off.
âBut-â
âNo. You are my husband. You are the love of my life. You are the person I chose to share my life with. In thick and thin, remember?â You cup his face so he can look directly at your eyes. âIâm not going anywhere. Physically, weâll be apart, but I wonât rest until I get you out, and we'll be together again, okay?â
Spencerâs eyes fill with tears, and so do yours. He leans down to catch your lips with his. He canât hold you - heâs cuffed - but for now, you can do that work. Lacing your arms around his neck, you deepen the kiss, and you can feel your tears mixing.
âIâll make it up to you. I promise,â Spencer mumbles on your lips.
âI know you will,â you mumble back before kissing him again.
Emily clearing her throat takes you both out of your bubble.
âIâm sorry, guys, but itâs time. Police are here,â she apologetically announces. You look at Spencer, and he nods. It's time. With a last lingering kiss and an âI love you,â he turns and follows Emily down the hall. Spencer doesn't turn around because he knows if he does and looks at you, he wonât be able to leave you there.
You watch him walk away and wonder if this nightmare will end soon. You don't know if you'll have the strength to hold on to him and yourself and if the love you share will be enough to keep the hope of a better tomorrow alive.

regressor namgyu fic? :D heâs rotting my brain atm..
Regressor! Nam-gyu w/ Caregiver! Thanos
Summary: Nam-gyu just being very cuddly towards Thanos.
Contains: Age regression, cuddling, fluff.
A/N: This turned out a lot shorter than I expected, which I am a bit disappointed about, but I do think it turned out alright. I also wasnât sure if you wanted Nam-gyu to be paired with anyone, so I decided to just write him with Thanos since I thought that was easier. If you wanted something with just him and no caregiver (or someone different) let me know and I can write something else!
Not proofread.
The concept of personal space didnât really exist to Nam-gyu, especially when heâd regress. He was very touchy and found comfort being close to Thanos. He loved clinging to him, holding his hand, sitting in his lap, any type of physical contact made him happy.
Thanos wasnât as big of a fan of physical affection like Nam-gyu was, but he didnât mind it. It was also one of the few things that kept Nam-gyu content while he was tiny and prevented him from getting up to trouble, so that was definitely a plus.
Soft hums came from Nam-gyu, who sat as close as he possibly could to Thanos. His head was lying on the otherâs shoulder while he held onto Thanosâs hand with both of his. Nam-gyu smiled as he quietly played with the ring on Thanosâs finger, pulling on it gently and spinning it around.
While Nam-gyu was happy and occupied, Thanos used his free hand to scroll on his phone. He wouldâve just watched tv, but it was currently playing a cartoon he had put on for Nam-gyu. And while he wasnât watching it, Thanos knew that if he changed the channel, Nam-gyu would most likely get upset and claim that he was watching the show, even though he clearly wasnât.
After some time, Thanos felt Nam-gyu move his head slightly. He looked over at him, only to see Nam-gyu staring at him. He immediately smiled when Thanos turned his attention to him.
âWhat are you looking at?â Thanos asked quietly in a joking manner as he smiled. Nam-gyu only giggled at him, before letting go of his hand and wrapping his arms around Thanosâs arm.
Thanos chuckled softly as he set his phone down, then began to ruffle Nam-gyuâs hair. More giggles left from Nam-gyu, who clung to Thanosâs arm even tighter. When his giggles calmed down, Nam-gyu decided to crawl into Thanosâs lap.
âYou want to sit in my lap, little man? Is that what you want?â Nam-gyuâs smile was big as he nodded. Thanos grinned at the male, before wrapping his arm around him and moving him closer.
Nam-gyu cooed happily when he was brought closer. He laid his head down and began to chew on the sleeve of his shirt while staring at Thanos. Thanos kept his arm wrapped tightly around Nam-gyu and, with his other hand, ran his fingers through his hair.
Nam-gyu laid there peacefully in Thanosâs arms, only feeling the feelings of complete happiness and safety. He never wanted it to end. He never wanted to leave Thanosâs embrace.

Itâs Nice to Have a Friend - Jschlatt
Part 7
Masterlist
Reader has been lonely their whole life. They have never been in a relationship. They donât understand why no one will love them but their best friend, Schlatt has always been in love with them.
The first part of this part is fluff then the next part is just smut, so mdni. 18+ only. This is also the official last part, so thank you for the support on it. Also I know Reader has been gn up to this point but they are now afab for smut purposes.
You and Schlatt have now been dating for a little over three months. It has been pure bliss and everything has been going great. You still have kept your relationship only between the two of you. The most you have done is make out with some touching, but you felt more was going to happen soon.
Today is your birthday and Schlatt was doing whatever he could to spoil you. He surprised you with tickets to see Wicked on broadway. He requested that you both dress up so he could make the night extra special. Before the show, Schlatt takes you out to a fancy dinner at a steakhouse. He tells you itâs not as good as Boa, but itâs definitely up there.
As you sip from your wine glass, you look over at Schlatt who is smiling at you like an idiot. âWhat?â You ask him. âWhy are you looking at me like that?â
âNothing. Youâre just so beautiful and I canât believe youâre mine,â he tells you. âAre you excited for the show?â
You nod, excitedly. You had seen your fair share of Broadway shows living in New York, but watching one with Schlatt made you very happy. âYes I am. Thank you for everything. You know you donât have to splurge on me just because itâs my birthday.â
âDonât worry about it, Toots. I like spoiling you. You deserve it. Itâs your twenty-fifth birthday. It needs to be special.â
You roll your eyes, affectionately at him. After you both finish your meals, you make your way to the show. Once you find your seats, you realize that he bought you the best ones. âJay,â you let out, surprised.
He just smiles at you. âLetâs sit,â he says, grabbing your hand in his.
The show starts and you watch in awe at the performers. You feel Schlattâs eyes watching you, but you ignore it. His thumb rubs the back of your hand. During intermission, you finally look back over at Schlatt. He has that same dumb look on his face. âIsnât it amazing? They are so talented. Iâm so ready for the second act,â you tell him.
âYeah Iâm actually enjoying it. But the view beside me is much better to look at,â he says.
You slap his arm slightly. âShut up and watch the show. You spent too much money to not actually watch it. You can look at me anytime.â You squint your eyes at him in a slight scowl.
He kisses your temple. âAs long as you're happy, Iâm happy.â
You roll your eyes as act 2 starts. You realize that Schlattâs eyes are actually focused on the stage. You smile to yourself, happy that he seems to be enjoying himself.
After the show, you get in his car to head back to his apartment. Ever since you started dating, you have spent most nights at his. Yours mainly just acts as a storage and holds some of your clothes. You already have a space in his closet and the majority of your hair products and makeup are in his bathroom.
On the ride home, Schlatt gushes over the show. He suggests that you go see shows more often. Especially if it means seeing you happy. Youâre honestly shocked about how much he enjoyed it.
When you finally arrive back at his apartment, you can feel the sexual tension starting to build. Once you walk inside, his lips immediately connect to yours. âAs much as I like this dress, I think it would look better off,â Schlatt groans in your ear.
You think tonight is the night and youâre ready. This will be your first time, but you trust Schlatt. He pulls away from you. His brown eyes somehow look even darker. âTake me upstairs,â you command.
Schlatt picks up as if you weigh nothing. You squeal slightly when he picks you up. He carries you to his bedroom before placing you on the bed. His lips immediately press against yours. You can already feel his bulge growing as he rubs against you. He deepens the kiss by exploring your mouth with his tongue.
This is how most of your nights have been. You make out for what feels like hours. When Schlatt canât take it anymore, he goes to take a shower to relieve himself. You pull away from him slightly. âIâm ready. I want you to fuck me tonight,â you tell him.
Schlatt groans. âAre you sure?â He asks.
âYes Iâm sure. Iâm ready and I want you. Bad.â
He kisses you again. He reaches behind you to unzip your dress. It slowly falls down your body. Schlatt helps you fully remove it and throws it across the room. He takes in your body, enjoying the matching set you put on. âThese are really nice. Too bad, they will be coming off soon,â Schlatt says, kissing your jaw down to your chest.
You help him take off his coat jacket then work on unbuttoning his shirt. He does it for you. Schlatt throws it all off including his tie. You rub your hand softly over the bulge you see forming in his pants. He lets out a soft moan. âCan I suck you off? You may need to help me through it though,â you tell him.
âFuck, toots. Youâre going to be the death of me. Kill me if I ever say no to that question.â
You laugh slightly, helping him out of his tight trousers. You canât even see him fully, but you know heâs huge just from the outline in his boxer. You start panicking a little bit imagining it inside of you. Schlatt seems to sense your anxiety, so he kisses you. You smile against his lips.
As he kisses you, he slips off his boxers. You pull away and look at him in awe. Heâs huge and you want him in your mouth immediately. You kiss the tip before taking it in your mouth. You start sucking lightly, making sure to cover your teeth. The room fills with Schlattâs moans. You take more of his cock in your mouth. You start speeding up a bit. You enjoy hearing Schlattâs moans turn into whimpers. You go down further on him until you start coughing a bit.
âDonât hurt yourself, baby. Just take it slow. If you need to stop, you can,â he comforts you.
âIâm okay,â you tell him, taking him back in your mouth.
âUse your hands if you canât fit it all. Spit on them or I can grab some lube to make it feel good,â he tells you.
You spit on both your hands before using them to rub his cock. You put your mouth back on him. You start speeding up again, getting the hang of it. Schlattâs hands go to the back of your head making a ponytail out of your hair.
After a little while, he pulls you off of him. âI was about to come. If I come, Iâll be knocked out,â he tells you.
Schlatt helps you out of your bra. As soon as itâs off, his mouth attaches to one of your breasts. He takes his time with you. You feel yourself soaking your panties and youâre getting impatient. You want him inside you already. After heâs done with your breast, he kisses down your stomach to your panties. âDamn, Toots. Youâre soaked already and Iâve barely touched you,â he teases.
âI know. Can you just fuck me already?â You plead.
âBe patient. This is your first time, so Iâll have to prep you first. Iâll fuck you when youâre ready, but donât be a brat.â
He quickly rips your panties down your legs. He kisses your thighs, completely ignoring your wet core. âJay,â you beg. Youâre not sure how much more you can take.
âIâm only being nice since itâs your birthday,â he says, before finally delving in. He wastes no time sucking on your clit then licking long strips down your center.
The sounds that come out of your mouth are foreign to your ears. The pleasure is too much that youâre scared you may come in seconds. You feel Schlattâs finger start to tease your hole. He finally inserts it softly while continuing to suck on your clit. You throw your head back as he goes a bit quicker. When he thinks youâre ready, he inserts another finger. He starts scissoring to open you up.
âFuck youâre so tight. I donât think Iâm going to last when I get to finally be inside you,â Schlatt tells you as you continue to moan.
âJay,â you groan when his mouth goes back to your clit. He continues to work you open. You start worrying youâre going to come soon, but he hasnât even been inside you yet.
After what feels like hours, he pulls his fingers out. âI think youâre ready. Iâm going to go slow. It is going to hurt at first, but Iâll try to be as soft as I can. There may be a mess, but we can clean it up. Are you ready?â
You nod at him. Youâve been thinking about this moment for a while now and itâs finally happening. As itâs your first time, youâre not sure what to expect but itâs Schlatt. You have immense trust for him.
He leans over to grab a condom from his nightstand. He opens the packets and delicately rolls the condom on. Schlatt lines himself up. You feel like youâre being ripped apart by his girth even though only the tip is in. You feel a tear slowly fall down your cheek. He kisses your forehead as he pushes in a bit more.
âFuck,â you yell out, your eyes feeling up with tears.
âI know, baby. It will only hurt for a bit. Let me know when I can move and I will,â Schlatt tells you. He moves the hair out of your face and pecks your lips softly. His rough fingers wipe the stray tears from your eyes.
When you get used to the feeling inside you, you nod. âYou can move,â you tell him.
âIâll go slow. Tell me if you want me to stop.â
Schlatt slowly pulls out of you then pushes out again. He keeps doing that before he picks up his pace. It starts to feel pleasurable again. You clench around him, wanting to keep him close.
âFuck toots. If you keep doing that, I donât know how long Iâll last,â he groans. He presses his lips to your as he goes faster. Schlattâs hands rest on your hips to give him better leverage. You hold on his forearms and start matching his pace. Youâre not sure why it took so long to do this.
âJay. Fuck,â you moan against his lips. Thereâs so much you want to say, but youâre at a loss for words.
He groans against your lips. Your noises meld together. You can tell heâs just as close as you are. âIâm coming,â you yell out.
Schlatt continues to fuck you through it until he reaches his climax. â(Y/N),â he moans out. Once he finishes, he slowly pulls out of you. He takes off the full condom and disposes of it. He goes into the bathroom to grab a towel. You look down to see the mess you made. Youâre scared when you see blood, but you were sure you werenât supposed to start for another week.
Schlatt comes in with the towel. âIâm sorry,â you start, looking back at the mess.
âItâs okay. Thatâs why I brought the towel to clean you up,â he tells you. He comes over and starts to wipe you up.
âI didnât realize I had started. If I knew, we could have waited.â
Schlatt starts to chuckle slightly. âThatâs not your period. Have you ever heard the term, âpopping the cherry?ââ
âOhh,â you say, realizing what happened. âThatâs gross. Iâm sorry.â
âDonât apologize. I knew it was going to happen. Itâs just part of it.â Schlatt walks over to you and kisses your temple. âHow about you hop in the shower and Iâll change the sheets?â
You nod, getting up. You struggle a bit, so Schlatt helps you on your feet. âI love you,â you tell him, pecking his lips.
âI love you too. Go hop in the shower. Youâll feel a lot better. Afterwards, we can cuddle and Iâll play with your hair.â
âHow about after you change the sheets, you join me? It is my birthday after all,â you wink at him, making your way to the shower.
Your twenty-fifth has been your best birthday yet and itâs all thanks to Schlatt. Youâre insanely glad he confessed his feelings to you months ago. Being Schlattâs best friend was amazing, but being Schlattâs partner was somehow entirely better. You look forward to more moments together. But for now, all you can think about is him joining you in the shower for round two.
A/N: omg my baby is finally finished!! Thank you for the constant support!! I have many things planned so stayed tuned. I also got inspired with it being readerâs birthday as my 25th birthday is coming up soon! Lots of love!!

Still Sick
(The Tea Lovers Pt. 11)
A Levi x reader fanfic
Crossposted from AO3
Everything was as usual. So why were you trembling?
tags: fluff and humor, silly and sweet, tea-obsessed fem!reader with their head in the clouds (word count: 4.4k)
(Part one) / (Levi x reader Masterlist)
You were standing in front of Levi's office, hand raised to knock, but for some reason, it refused to move. Instead of closing the distance between you and the door, like you wanted it to, your hand was shaking like a leaf caught in a storm. A very wet storm, since your palm was also sweating like crazy.
This had never happened to you before.
It was teatime, and normally you couldn't wait to get inside to enjoy some of that leafy goodness together. Normally.
But after yesterday, things were anything but normal.
A lot of things had happened. You'd dislocated your shoulder in a near-death experience with a Titan â the wooden training dummy type, but still â and had to be rescued by Levi, squashing your dignity even further. You'd then gotten yourself into a serious discussion with him over your participation in the next expedition. But none of that even came close to the realization that had hit you that evening: the small fact that you were in love with Levi Ackerman.
Needless to say, things were different now.
Like your heart thudding in your ears louder than a Titan's footsteps, or your arm no longer responding to your brain's commands. (There were no excuses. It wasn't even the one you'd dislocated.)
You took a deep breath. You could do this, like you had a million times before. It was just teatime. You loved teatime.
"For tea," you said, squaring your shoulders. Once again, you raised your fist into the air, moving it toward the door with all the momentum your newfound courage had bestowed upon it, andâ
The door swung open.
Levi stood there, looking thoroughly unimpressed as your fist stopped just short of his face.
"The tea's getting cold," he said dryly. You could feel his breath on your hand as it awkwardly hovered there, inches away from his mouth.
You cleared your throat and quickly dropped your hand. But now you didn't know what to do with it. It just dangled at your side, suddenly feeling more like an alien appendage than a body part. You fidgeted with your sling, trying to look casual, though everything about you screamed not casual at all.
"Um," you croaked. Your mouth was dry as parchment. A currently empty parchment, for words were eluding you. It didn't help that Levi kept looking at you with that cool gaze of his, his expression as flat as ever, betraying nothing.
"I..." You started again. You swallowed. "Sorry for being late. I was busy writing the report about yesterday, and kind of lost track of time, andâ"
"It's fine," Levi said dismissively. "Come in."
You nodded, trudging after him into his office, your feet heavy.
You sat down across from him at your usual spot and watched him fill up your cup with his usual smooth precision. Yes â everything was as usual. And yet. The silence between you felt heavy, somehow, like it was weighed down by all the unsaid words piling up inside of you. It was a strange, unfamiliar feeling. Before yesterday, you'd always been able to say what was on your mind; now it felt like something was holding you back.
It was probably the irrational fear that, no matter what you tried to say, the words slipping out of your mouth would be I'm in love with you instead. A confession you definitely weren't ready to make. Not until you knew how he felt about you â which was probably going to be never. Unless you asked him. Should you ask him?
You looked up nervously, only to find Levi staring at you, his brows slightly raised as he studied you. Was it because you were acting weird? Were you acting weird? You shifted awkwardly in your seat.
He gave a slight nod in the direction of the teacup still sitting on the table in front of you, untouched. "You don't want your tea?"
"Oh." You felt your face heat up. "Of course."
You reached for the cup with trembling fingers, causing it to rattle against the saucer in a staccato of tiny clickety-clinks. The shaking made the tea slosh around precariously.
You tried to steady it, but with only one hand, it was impossible â some tea spilled over the edge and onto the table. You winced. You knew how much he valued cleanliness. "I'm so sorry."
Levi calmly pulled a white handkerchief from his pocket and wiped up the mess, then shot you a look. "You okay?"
"Me?" You asked, still flustered. "Oh. Yeah. I'm okay. Totally."
You took a sip of what remained of your tea and promptly choked on it, making you cough violently.
"Totally fine, clearly," Levi deadpanned.
"Couldn't be⌠better," you wheezed, trying to catch your breath.
For some reason, Levi didn't look too convinced.
You avoided his scrutinizing gaze, suddenly very invested in ridding your sling from every last piece of lint, both real and imaginary.
Had teatime always been this long? You glanced at the clock on the wall. It hadn't even been ten minutes. You bit your lip, the silence growing more unbearable with every passing second. You should say something â anything â to get him talking, but what?
"Doâ" you started, nearly choking on the words. "Do you like cats?"
"Yes," Levi replied, giving you absolutely nothing to work with.
"Cool," you said lamely.
Argh! The tension made you want to tear out all your hair.
You tried again. "So⌠What do you like about them?"
A pause. "They're clean, and quite independent."
"Kinda sounds like you, doesn't it?" You chuckled nervously.
"If you say so." But there was a slight, almost imperceptible quirk to the corners of his mouth, making your heart stop, then flutter back to life at double the speed. What was he doing to your body? This couldn't be healthy. Any longer, and you might go into cardiac arrest. You had to find a way to get out of here, quickly.
Determined, you grabbed ahold of your cup, managing to finish what was left without spilling another drop. It would be suspicious if you didn't have a second, though. You held out your cup, white-knuckling the handle in an iron grip to stop it from shaking. "Could I get some more, please?"
"Sure." You watched him pour the steaming liquid into your cup. As soon as he lifted the pot, you pulled the cup away and downed it without wasting a second.
This was going better than you had expected. You'd actually be able to pull off your usual three.
You held out your cup again. "Hit me up." Levi snorted but poured you another.
You gulped it down in one go. Before you could stop yourself, you shot Levi a quick glance, just long enough to catch the raised eyebrow, then quickly dropped your gaze to your knees.
"This was great," you began stiffly. "As always. But I should probably get going now. Still got some important⌠reporting to do. Yep. I really have to get back to my report. So⌠This was great. Did I say that already? Because it was. Great. AnywayâŚ" You shot up so quickly, you almost toppled over the chair.
Levi looked up at you with narrowed eyes. It seemed like he was about to say something, but before he had a chance to get a word in, you quickly continued. "See you tomorrow." You gave him an awkward wave as you speed-walked to the door. "Or maybe at dinner. Who knows, right?" Definitely not going to happen. There was no way you'd get any food down with him in your line of sight. You'd have to sit at the other end of the mess hall, with your back to him. There was no other option, at least not at the moment.
But it had to get better eventually, right? You'd get used to your feelings, and everything would go back to normal. Yes. You nodded as you pulled open his office door and swiftly stepped outside, resisting the urge to look back. It just had to.
The door closed behind you with a thud, the sweet sound of a wooden barrier falling into place to protect you from the root of your racing heart. Your shoulders sagged as you leaned against it, a soft sigh escaping your lips.
Was being in love supposed to be this exhausting?
â â
Just as you'd planned, you managed to avoid Levi at dinner. You weren't so lucky at breakfast, though. Your roommates hadn't been particularly taken with your suggestion of switching things up for a change of scenery, and sadly your usual seat was a prime spot for Levi-viewing. (Definitely not by coincidence either, since both Lynne and Petra, who were regulars at your table, appreciated the front-row view of Levi in all his glory.)
But they had it easy. Their appreciation showed in admiring glances and little giggles.
Yours, on the other hand, turned you into a menace â your knife slipped from your sweaty grip multiple times, almost impaling the legs of your innocent seatmates. (It was a butter knife. But still.)
It was nerve-racking. You were almost relieved when it was time for your meeting with the commander to discuss the-near-death-by-dummy incident.
Erwin beckoned you inside. "Take a seat."
You did, fiddling with your sling as you waited for the commander to speak. But he remained silent, his stern gaze fixed on you, as if he were expecting you to say something first.
So you cleared your throat and began. "I sincerely apologize for my carelessness during training. As written in the report, I was distracted by a personal matter. There are no excuses, and it won't happen again. I promise the matter is⌠taken care of. I figured it out after a talk with Hange." Well, kind of taken care of. But as long as you steered clear from Levi, there should be no further distractions.
Erwin acknowledged your apology with a curt nod. "As you should now understand, what happened is far from a laughing matter. The training is designed to simulate the experience of a mission as closely as possible. Full attention is a prerequisite, just as it is on a real expedition. Just one moment of carelessness can cost you your life, like it almost did for you. You experienced it firsthand, so you understand why distractions can and will not be tolerated."
You swallowed. "Yes, sir. I understand."
Erwin lifted a thick eyebrow, clearly surprised by your unexpected formality. It was unlike you, but given the seriousness of the situation, you'd felt it was called for. For a moment, neither of you said a word. His forehead creased as he studied you, as if testing your sincerity. Finally, he gave a small nod.
"After careful consideration, I have decided that, based on your performance on past missions, you will be allowed to take part in the next expedition."
A wild grin formed on your lips, and you were ready to burst out with a spate of thanks, but Erwin held up a hand, signaling he wasn't done yet.
"However, I need you to understand that this is a preliminary decision, pending your performance during the next forest training. You will be closely monitored and evaluated before I make the final decision. But I trust you learned your lesson and will be fully present mentally."
"You bet!" You exclaimed full of enthusiasm. "I will give it my all, just like I do on missions. Thank you for your trust, I promise I won't disappoint!"
Erwin scrubbed a hand over his face, but there was a smile playing at the corners of his lips. Put at ease, you continued your chatter. "Honestly, I'm so relieved. A scout wouldn't be a scout without venturing beyond the walls. Kind of like a bird with no wings." You gestured to the wings of freedom emblazoned on his uniform jacket. "So I'm glad you decided to give me a chance. Being left behind at headquarters would've felt so⌠wrong. And kind of lonely, too."
Erwin rubbed his chin. "I see what you mean. The expeditions are what set us apart from the rest of the military, our defining purpose. And frankly, we can't afford to leave behind good soldiers. We need every man we can get."
You beamed at him. "You can definitely count on me!"
He regarded you warmly. "You certainly have the right spirit."
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in," Erwin called.
Levi stepped inside, carrying a few documents. Just the sight of him made your heart lurch in your chest.
"Ugh, nowhere's safe from him," you mumbled under your breath. Erwin shot you a strange look.
Flustered, you sprang to your feet. "Thanks again for the great talk. I promise I won't let you down. I'll leave you two to it, then."
You scrambled past Levi toward the door, almost tripping in your haste to escape. Your heart, too, seemed to stumble with each frantic beat. If just seeing him had this kind of effect on you, how could you possibly survive teatime today? There was just no way.
â â
It was a quarter to four. You were pacing through your room, trying to walk off the nervous energy that coursed through your veins like the concentrated essence of one hundred cups of tea. It was a last ditch effort, part of the strategy you'd come up with to get through teatime with Levi â to be so exhausted, you'd have no other option but to be calm.
It wasn't working in the slightest. Despite taking over chores left and right all day, you were still brimming with energy. You'd even volunteered to clean the stables, groom all the horses, pick every single last hoof â all one-handed. And yet, here you were, ready to run all the way to the capital on foot if only it would get you out of having to face Levi today.
It seemed like he mobilized energy reserves you didn't even know you had. Maybe Hange should investigate this phenomenon â it could help humanity gain the upper hand over the Titans. Endless energy by way of Levi.
You let out a deep, dramatic sigh and plopped down on a chair. This wasn't working. At this rate, Levi would find out something was up. After all, he was the most observant person you knew. And even worse, he might realize what it was, and thenâŚ
And then what? You had no idea. But it couldn't be good. Maybe he wouldn't want to have teatime together anymore. The thought made your stomach clench painfully, and you exhaled hard. If only you were better at hiding your feelings. You could already picture what would happen if you didn't get your emotions in check: At best, the victim of the inevitable nervous breakdown would be a tea cup, dropped from your sweaty hand. At worst, it would be you, after your heart had finally decided to give out under the pressure. Either way, disaster was guaranteed. How could you possibly prevent that?
Time to come up with another strategy.
You started pacing again, walking back and forth along the wall lined with shelves that held your collection of teapots. Your gaze landed on one, and without thinking, you traced the rough surface with your fingertips, feeling the jagged edges where the pieces had been painstakingly glued back together. It couldn't hold tea anymore, yet it had grown to be your favorite. Not really knowing why, you'd always felt a strange warmth in your chest just by looking at it.
Now you realized it was because it reminded you of Levi. He'd been the one to fix it for you after you had accidentally shattered it, no questions asked. Because this was the kind of person he was. Unfailingly reliable. Kind, even if he acted grumpy about it. Just thinking about him made you smile. It was strange how long it had taken you to realize how you felt about him. But now, you couldn't think of anything else. His voice. His hair. The way he'd looked at you in the forest when he'd found you. The feeling of his arms around you when you had shared a horse, your back against his chest. Warm. Safe.
You pressed your hands to your heart, trying to stop it from fluttering, but it was no use. Ugh. He was an even stronger stimulant than black tea. Maybe this should be your new strategy, then: getting used to him the same way a body got used to a drug, by slowly and carefully increasing the dosage â little by little, until even large amounts had no effect anymore.
"Yes, that could totally work," you mumbled to yourself. But that also meant you had to start with small doses. Teatime was off the table for now â no need to risk an overdose.
You cracked your knuckles, walked to the table, and got out at sheet of paper. Operation ' Levi-tolerance induction' was a go.
â â
You tiptoed to his office door, the piece of paper clutched in your clammy fingers. It read: Can't make it to teatime today. Not feeling well. Sorry for the short notice! It was the best you'd been able to come up with in the limited time you'd had.
You reached the door, quickly glancing left and right to make sure the coast was clear. Crouching low, you slid the piece of paper under the door, then shot back up and made a run for it.
Just as you turned the corner, you heard the door open. He was fast, like you'd expected. You fought the reflex to peek around the corner to see his reaction. You had to be strong and walk on. It was the only way for your plan to work. "Small doses," you whispered. "Small doses."
You skipped dinner to make your excuses seem more believable, drawing from your supply of tea biscuits to avoid going hungry.
At breakfast, you did your best to look as lethargic as possible. It wasn't so easy to look ill while simultaneously stuffing your face, but you gave it your all. You needed to stock up on energy, since the step-by-step plan called for only one encounter with Levi on the first day, meaning you'd have to skip dinner again.
During your designated Levi-exposure time, however, the idea was to look at him as much as possible to build your tolerance. This didn't turn out to pose as much of a challenge as you'd thought â you couldn't seem to stop yourself from staring at him, anyway. How could a person look this good while simply buttering a slice of bread? It shouldn't be legal. Seeing him work out would probably be the end of you. Luckily, you wouldn't be exposed to that just yet.
Because of your arm, the only training you were assigned to at the moment was stamina training â for today, that meant training together with squad Mike, so you'd be able to avoid Levi then. But you already feared for your heart when it would inevitably be squad Levi's turn.
For teatime, you slid another paper under his door â Can't make it. Still sick. â then fled the scene again. All that stamina training was really paying off.
You kept this up for days, strategically avoiding Levi while gradually increasing your exposure. It seemed to be working, but it also felt a little lonely. This was the longest you'd gone without talking to him since you'd met, and teatime alone in your room just didn't feel the same.
Fortunately, you wouldn't have to stick it out much longer. According to your plan, today would be the last day of skipping your shared tea.
As you walked down the hallway towards Levi's office, a small smile tugged at your lips. "Just one more day," you whispered, tightening your grip on the note in your hand. Still sick.
You hadn't realized how much you'd missed him, despite seeing him every day. It just wasn't the same without talking to him.
You crouched down in front of his door the same way you always did, but this time, the moment felt almost solemn. With a final nudge, you pushed the note underneath it.
The door flew open in an instant, and before you could even think of running away, he had already pulled you inside. Levi. You stared at him, wide-eyed with shock.
"I know you're not sick," he said, his hand still closed around your wrist. "You were at training every single day, so that can't be it. Something's wrong. Tell me what it is."
His gaze seared into your face, searching it for an answer. Your heart was thudding in your ears, your mind completely blank. All you could do was stare at him like a cornered animal, all thoughts eluding you. You couldn't get one word out. To make things even worse, you started to tremble.
Something flashed over his face, his brow furrowing just slightly. He let go of your wrist and stepped back. "Have some tea, first."
You legs felt numb as you walked over to the table and sat down. He pushed the cup toward you, and you took it, mechanically taking a sip. You still didn't know what to say. I'm head over heels for you, so I was trying to build up a tolerance, which clearly hasn't worked, because I'm still a nervous wreck around you. You couldn't possibly say that. It was your first time keeping words inside like that, consciously holding them back. It was almost painful for you. You really were sick. Lovesick.
Your eyes flicked up to Levi's face. He was still looking at you. His eyebrows were drawn together in a frown. You were so tense, you almost flinched when he started speaking again.
"You seem to be avoiding me. Why?"
"Iâ" you started. You wrung your hands, trying to come up with a plausible excuse. Levi waited for you to continue, but you still couldn't think of something to say. You just sat there, miserably staring at your hands.
"Is it because of what I said about you staying behind for the next expedition?"
Your eyes snapped to his. "What? No."
"Then why?"
"It's⌠It's not like I'm angry with you or anything. I'm sorry if I made you think that. It's just thatâŚ" You exhaled a shaky breath. "Can I...ask you something?"
"Sure."
"⌠What do you love most in this world? For me, I always thought it was tea butâŚ" You trailed off. "Anyway, you don't have to answer this right now, just picture it in your head. And now, this next part is hypothetical, butâŚ" You nervously played with your sling. "If a fire broke out here, and everyone else had already evacuated, but I was still inside, passed out from the smoke⌠What do you save? Me or⌠Your dust rag, or whatever. Whatever you love most." The last part was a lame attempt at a joke, but you didn't dare look up to see his reaction.
Levi snorted. "That's a stupid question."
You swallowed. Of course it was.
"Of course I would save you."
You jerked your head up. "You would?"
Levi nodded, his eyes fixed on you. You felt your face heat up under the intensity of his gaze.
"You⌠You can only save one, though, I forgot to say that part."
"Still you."
"Oh." Oh. Your breath caught. Did that mean
"It wasn't much of a choice," Levi muttered, his voice low and raspy, as if the words had been caught in his throat.
Your eyes widened. Your body started to tingle all over. Levi felt the same
You noticed the way he was looking at you, this strange softness around his eyes, open and raw, everything inside them bared.
He felt the same!
A wild happiness soared in your chest, spreading through you like liquid warmth, making your face light up with the widest, fiercest smile, too powerful to hold back â but you didn't have to hold back anymore.
"I'm so glad you feel the same," you told him, still beaming at him. You felt weightless, like everything pressing down on you had suddenly been lifted.
And there it was, tugging at the corners of his lips â his own quiet smile.
You couldn't sit still anymore, so you got up, but getting up wasn't enough, so you rounded the table, and then you took his hand, because the only way to make it feel enough was to be close to him.
"Levi," you said. He was looking up at you, and you were looking back at him. "I like you more than tea."
"You do, huh."
"Yep. A lot more, actually. Tea never made me this nervous. Not even twenty cups of it."
A pause. His eyes crinkled. "So that's what this was."
You nodded furiously. "I was so nervous, I couldn't think straight. I guess I was worried you wouldn't feel the same." You tugged at his hand, pulling him up to you. "But I'm not nervous anymore."
You pulled him even closer, until there was no distance left between you, your heart beating against his again, just like on the day he had rescued you.
"Not even a little?" he asked, his gaze locked with yours. Levi's palm was warm against your face as he cupped your cheek, his thumb tracing a slow path down your chin. The sensation sent a shiver down your spine.
"Maybe a bitâŚ" Your voice was just a breathy whisper against his lips.
His answer was lost as he closed the distance between you, but you could feel it in the brush of his lips against yours. "Good."
Your eyes fluttered closed, and you let yourself get lost, no longer sure where you started and he ended.
When you opened them again, your tea had long gone cold. You didn't mind. You had something warm right here.
A/n: It finally happened! I can't believe I'm saying this, but the end is fast approaching. The next chapter will be an epilogue, so this actually marks the last full-length chapter of the tea lovers. See you soon <3

the last man in the world
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a sole proprietorship coffee shop in possession of an ideal location and a reliable source of ethically harvested beans must be in want of adequate staff.
Elizabeth would have taken one measly part-time barista who could create a competent Rosetta in a latte.
Or someone who was not related to her, because when her sisters came to âhelp out,â she ended up short cash in the till (Lydia and shockingly Mary), running low on clotted cream (Kit), or with the entire kitchen scrubbed clean but with all the shelves rearranged in a way that was completely unintuitive unless you were also deeply influenced by feng shui (Jane, who needed to stop worrying so much about cultural appropriation but also needed to stop moving the espresso cups to the north side of the room.)
It was getting dire and that was not only Elizabethâs opinion. Charlotte, her closest friend from uni and also her accountant, had started to have an expression halfway between concerned and skeptical when Elizabeth talked about the coffee-shop and had absolutely vetoed the vintage La Marzocco espresso maker.
âYouâd need what they call an angel investor in the States to pull that off, Lizzie, and nothing about Bluestockings would attract an angel,â Charlotte said.
âYou still think I should have accepted the offer from Collins,â Elizabeth replied.
âIâm not idealistic,â Charlotte shrugged. âNot a romantic like you. He made a solid offer and he had the cashââ
âHe looked like a toad in a Fair Isle jumper and he kept calling me Bettina,â Elizabeth said.
âThis is London, the costs are only getting higher, between the bloody Tories and the foreign nationals buying up entire streetsâ You may regret saying no."
âIâd rather that than the alternative,â Elizabeth said. âThe look on his face was priceless.â
âOh, there was a price,â Charlotte said. âYou just donât know how much itâll cost you.â
âHow much?â the tall, dark-haired man in what was very clearly Savile Row asked, after Elizabeth, most definitely not looking her best since not one sister had shown up to help, not even Jane, had pushed across a sloppily poured London fog latte and then had forgotten to ring him up.
âFour quid,â she said, rounding up. He was wearing monogrammed platinum cufflinks and had the attitude of someone with a vast estate he referred to as âthe country house.â Plus, heâd ignored her the whole time sheâd scrambled around to make the drink, even when she nearly knocked three tins (Jane, why, why?!) from the shelf where the Earl Grey was kept and sheâd yelped most unbecomingly.
âI meant how much do you need for the back-taxes and the rent. It needs a renovation, but weâd need to get an architect in for that, Annika de Bourgh at Rosings is the best,â he said. âMy friend Charlie was here last week, raved about it, said the very pretty barista with the bluest eyes told him you were her sister, the coffee-shop about to go under, even though sheâd reorganized the cutlery five times to invite financial well-being, and heâs likely to do something very ill-considered unless I stop him, so how much do you need? The place is tolerable, I supposeââ
âTolerable?â Elizabeth repeated. Sputtered, not unlike the milk frother which needed a repair.
âIâve seen worse. Iâve seen better. It has some potential, the location is unimpeachable, the foot traffic alone should make the rent, as long as people want to walk in,â he said. âHow much?â
âYouâve some nerve,â Elizabeth said.
âYes. As well as the acumen and portfolio to back it up,â he answered coolly.
âIâd never take money from someone whose name I donât know, who hasnât worked with me a single day,â Elizabeth said.
âDarcy. Will Darcy. I hope youâve a spare apron,â he said.
âI donât,â she said.
âThen Iâll wear one of your tee-shirts,â he said, taking off his suit jacket and folding it over one forearm.Â
âIt wonât fit,â she said.
âIâll be careful then, not to spill,â he replied.
The tee-shirt fit, if by fit one meant that it made it clear how exquisitely well-built Will Darcy was, broad and well-muscled through the shoulders and chest, narrow waisted, the pale blue cotton concealing hardly anything, the swoopy swirly scrawl of Bluestockings seemingly designed specifically to make one consider whether he possessed a six or eight pack. And he didnât spill a drop.
âConvinced?â he asked, after three hours, the best mid-afternoon rush sheâd ever had neatly managed, the counters pristine. Heâd rolled his sleeves up after the first hour and Elizabeth had resolutely determined not to give a name to the feeling the sight evoked in her.Â
(The name would probably include an obscenity, something she could confide to neither Jane nor Charlotte.)
âGive me a week,â she said.
âTo decide?â
âWork here for a week. One afternoon doesnât count. You might be lucky,â she said.
âI donât believe in luck,â he said.
âOf course not,â she said.Â
Charlotte had been right. Elizabeth had had no idea what it would cost her.
